" Breakfast wasn't topped up unless prompted by customers, breakfast should be fresh and provided up u till end of breakfast time as you pay the same price, rooms looked like they had been updated, clean. Reception and bar staff helpful and pleasent."

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

"Had a lovely stay at the vale resort on 28 march. Made use of the spa and had a 2 hour walk around the grounds,lake and castle after a lovely breakfast . Well recommended for a break away"

"Overall experience was satisfactory. Room temperature and water temperature was just perfect. Good food, friendly staff and clean. I will definitely prefer to stay again if I have to visit Cardiff. "

"Only downside with our visit was only 1 of the 3 lifts was working. With it being easter weekend the hotel was very busy and we had to wsit a long time for the 1 lift working "
