I needed a room last minute so I went on Trivago and found a good deal for 1 night. Checkin was quick & easy. Staff was very cordial and checkede in quick.
Room was clean but hotel had a very musty smell. Smelled like a wet dog. Beds were very hard. If you need a cheap hotel for one night it would be fine anything other than that find another hotel
The staff is especially helpful and customer service oriented the rooms were clean no thrills, no Netflix but just perfect for VT proximity along with dining options
The room was great with two queen size beds and a couch. AC was great, nice hot showers and was able to watch tv while doing work. Can't beat the many places to shop and eat that were very close.
My best friend and I stayed here for a few days for the BTS concert. First thing that happened was I realized I left my ID all the way back home, which was such a bummer. I don't know her name, but the kind woman working the night shift was the absolute best! She was so nice and went out of her way to help by scanning a picture of my passport..I fully expected to be turned away, but she took care of us. She was so sweet, and I even overheard her helping another guest about how to get around in Baltimore for the concert, too.
It was my first time in Baltimore and I'm not from the area, but I felt really safe in this hotel. All the staff members are super friendly and greet you in the morning. We were on one of the upper floors, and our room was pretty clean, spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. It was pretty quiet for the most part, too. You honestly can't beat this place for the price! We mostly took Ubers everywhere so I can't say much about the immediate neighborhood, but overall it’s a great hotel with amazing staff and perfect if you're in town for a concert.
Booked this hotel thinking it would be better than a couple others I found. Hotel was clean but outdated. Room was clean but smelled like cigarettes even though it was no smoking. Luckily we could stand it just for the night but we won’t stay here again.
The room and hotel were clean. Maybe too clean. If you have ever rented a carpet cleaner from your local grocery store and get that associated carpet detergent, the place smelled over whelmingly like they had just cleaned all their carpets (which I suspect they did). We opened the window of our room for a couple hours, and the cleaner smell went away just fine. Honestly, I was glad to know that they were cleaning carpets.
Breakfast was weak. Couple different fruit and drinks. No protein, no bagels. Overall, good stay and I'd stay again.
Room was clean, beds comfortable. Location was great and very affordable. Lobby does smell like cigarette smoke, it may be because employees/guest smoke right outside doors. Staff were friendly, easy check in.

room was musty, carpet smelled old.
bathroom was clean and room was satisfactory.
staff was friendly.
Great price for all the amenities. My room was large and quiet. Comes with a refrigerator which came in handy. Great TV. A safe in the room also. Great experience!
Super 8 fit my desire for a safe and convenient place to stay near Virginia Tech. Staff were friendly and kind and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to a number of restaurants, stores, and the university, and it was the best price of the hotels I searched. Breakfast is quite sparse, and the amenities and general "feel" are fairly no-frills, but it fit the bill for my purposes, and I had a very nice experience.
Pretty solid for the price. Walls are thin so the environment isn't the most quiet but I didn't find it a large problem. Pretty clean as well.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Bed was ok, but not clean, smell cigarettes everywhere in the lobby and in the room even non smoking room. Convinced near the roads and closed to the restaurants.
If you are looking for a decent internet connection, don't stay here. Otherwise, it is a great place to stay. It is close to many amenities, clean, and all around nice hotel.
