The sofa bed was absolutely terrible and in no condition to sleep on as all you could feel was it’s springs sticking out and aching your back, I was unable to sleep all night due to being in pain and woke up with aches and bruises all over my back. Also in the bathroom you can’t press the button to flush the toilet we had to use the end of the spoon. Despite not sleeping at all the service in reception was exceptional! Flott opphold

Vi hadde et flott opphold. Veldig fint å bo i leilighet når vi var tre som reiste sammen, i tillegg lå hotellet sentralt til i forhold til restauranter, butikker og jernbanestasjonen.

The bar opposite plays extremely loud music until 4am in Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. The staff would have know this but didn’t tell us at check in. The next day we were told we should have moved rooms because of the noise. Request a room that is not on the courtyard side

Good first impressions, wasn’t easy to find but rang hotel and they gave good direction. Apartment was spacious and clean on arrival, some furniture was a bit tatty but clean. Got in the shower and after a few mins the hot water ran out ( I had shampoo in my hair) my partner tried to call On the intercom reception but it didn’t work so rang on the mobile. We were told I could boil a kettle and wash my hair that way or someone could come have a look!! I got out the shower and hid in the bedroom whilst someone came to look, he said we had to wait for the water to heat up 30-40 mins. This is not very impressive at all!!!! After finally having a shower and getting to bed even after being on the quiet floor, there was so much noise out in the courtyard and on the corridor, banging on our doors, shouting people running up and down several disturbances in the night. We have a 2 year old who we were trying to get back to sleep and make sure he didn’t wake up crying to make noise. We had the worst nights sleep. ot impressive at all and very expensive for the treatment we received. We informed reception of the issues we had and we were told they were sorry and could keep our car in the car park (which you have to pay for anyway) for longer.....no thanks. We had treated ourselves being the day after our wedding but our experience was awful and would never stay in one of these again. Please contact me to arrange some form of compensation.

The room smelt of cooking the chairs and settess were ripped up the floor was sticky in the kitchen. But the bedrooms were ok and the bed was comfortable just need to revamp and decorate the Living room area.

Good location within 5 minutes walking to Newstreet station. What I did not like is that I was made to deposit £50 on checking in and promised if I did damage anything I will be refunded at check put. When I asked for my money at checkout I was told it will be credited to my account but will take "few days". Four weeks later they have not refunded by £50

Fairly basic but a great location

Staycity Arcadian is in a great location less than 10 minutes walk from New Street Station. Brilliant for Chinatown, the canals and the city centre shops. It is pretty basic accommodation, but to be fair it was clean and the room was a good size. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was well equipped and there was also a washing machine. The beds were comfortable, the sofa bed okay. All of the staff were great and very pleasant and helpful. Down sides: the t.v. was terrible, the reception so bad it was unwatchable, the internet was so slow it was pointless and the shower had two settings - volcano and surface of the sun! We spent little time in the room, out exploring the city so it did the job for us and at a reasonable price.

Great place but new furnitures are needed fork

This place has become my second home in UK. I’ve stayed here before a few times. It’s an excellent location. The only issue is with the condition of the furniture. This particular room had terrible chairs and sofa bed. Anything that has leather are all peeling off. All rooms should be redone with new or repaired furniture. Other than that it’s a great place especially the balcony
