Top Birmingham Hotel Reviews
Trumbull and Porter Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The check in was easy and the hotel was cute. A little rough around the edges but it gave character! Everything was clean."
The Westin Southfield Detroit
10/10 Excellent
"The property is maintained very well, with all areas in and outside being clean and in good repair. They have a lovely little restaurant in house that serves breakfast and dinner, but no lunch. They close for lunch. The menu is somewhat limited, but everything we ate there was very good. My son didn't feel well on the first night. I had to plug in the room phone to get it to work, but it did work. I hope they do not do away with in room phones. We were able to get ginger ale brought up to the room for him. The staff are very personable and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have in room thermostats and ample bedding to suit individual needs. They also have self parking ($15) and valet parking ($30) available. The hotel was not near downtown, which is where most of our activities were centered, but not inconveniently far (only about 20 minutes). If you are going downtown parking is very expensive in any of the lots or garages. Street parking is much cheaper, but can be difficult to find. We used an app called ParkDetroit.us. It's on the playstore and may also be called Flowbird. Overall we had a very nice stay in the Westin Southside in Detroit."
