"This 101 year old hotel has been updated and completely renovated. Our room and bathroom were tastefully decorated; and the hotel lobby was lovely. The bed was amazing. We loved the simplicity of this hotel i.e.: no television, no refrig or micro, good simple healthy breakfast with excellent coffee and teas. The simplicity takes you out of the modern experience and brings the imagination back to yester year. We enjoyed the time reading without the noise. The staff and owners were very pleasant and helpful. As we always say: SIMPLICITY IS THE KEY TO GREATNESS. God willing we will stay here again."

We only ate it 1 time out of the 3 days we were there but theres waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, instant oatmeal, toast, juice/coffee,etc. Our only complaint is the bed. It was not comfortable at all. The mattress was to soft (for our liking) and it felt like sleeping on a air mattress. So we did not sleep well for the 3 nights we were there. So that was a bummer. If you are staying 1 night or like soft mattresses then we recommend staying here."
