"Its fine and certainly well located, but very basic. Sheets pretty rough and the towel had been left in a washer too long. Very musty smelling. Be warned, hotel is right under bell tower and you do hear it throughout the night if window is open."

Some time after making the reservation I called to ask how to check-in given that it said there is no front desk and I didn't receive any instructions. I was told in German they are fully booked, despite having a confirmed reservation (and the hotels.com website having several rooms there). "Efficient check-in process, large clean rooms. Extensive breakfast. All at a very reasonable price. For longer stays more atmosphere would be desirable"

"Went there for a work trip. Overall experience was good. Only a small personal remark about the bed. The bed was ok, but a bit of a thin squeaky mattress. Also 2 separate mattresses in a double bed where one is lying higher than the other isn't extremely comfortable. Nonetheless. Breakfast was good, room was ok. Good for a business trip."

"Excellent location and great number of things to keep you busy with, as we only book the accommodation on the day we arrived we really loved the experience. We arrived on Christmas Day and the restaurant was open and served a wonderful dinner. If we plan to go back to Germany we certainly will visit here again as it was one of our favorite stays. "Nice Bavarian cultural hotel with local foods. Lunch comes with limited options. Dinners were usually ok except one day. If you don't eat meat it is a bit hard to find something suitable to you. You may need to request room cleaning if you need. Great place for kids, they can navigate themselves above 3yo. "
