This is a clean facility, breakfast buffet is ok. However, it is clearly a budget option with limited amenities: only soap but no lotion in room, only one outlet (have to alternate charging of electronics), no coffee/tea in room, no safe.

The electrical outlets are very far from the bed…. No very useful with a cpap machine! We good the Hotel and they said there was nothing they could do. Thankfully a member of the staff was kind enough to look for an extension cord for us.

When I booked, I did not realize how far from city center this hotel is. Not hard to get to via frequent trains and city bus #9. And there is Bus #20 from city center that likely takes a long time to get to hotel area with lots of stops. The only restaurant reliably open and close is McDonald´s, though there are others in nearby shopping center. Okay breakfasts at hotel a bit pricey, but not as bad as in the Ibis Budget in Lima, Peru. They have no top sheet, only a comforter that is too heavy and hot in the summer. I took the inner part our and slept only under the cover. That was okay. This is a good place to stay if you are going to the adjacent Expo Center. I didn´t but I made it work.

Staff great help and very pleasant to us. Excellent services with the 24 concierge service , beverages and food available. Well provided area for heating up food if you need it. Very clean. Our room was small but ok for us as we had small amount of luggage ie small backpacks not large suitcases. May want to ask for a larger room if you have lots of luggage. All in all a great short stay. Also gorgeous view to alps on the side our room was on.

Very Inexpensive compared to surrounding hotels, but this is more like a hostel than a hotel. Every possible cost savings is evident, but it gets the job done. Just don’t expect it to compare to more expensive luxurious accommodations. The rooms were clean, safe, and their surrounding area was good. Beds were comfortable. Very utilitarian, but there isn’t a cheaper way to sleep three people in the area that I could find.

We’ve enjoyed our stay. I was afraid that there was no A/C after reading one of the reviews saying a/c would be nice but there is actually a/c in the building but it is centrally managed and you can’t adjust it in your room. Room temperature was very good and pleasant so no complaints.Room was very clean and hotel was quiet.

Nice but definitely cost effective

Hotel overall was good. Staff friendly, building modern. Plugs were very limited in the rooms and there were no safes. Toilet door had gaps at top & bottom (noisy). Went to do work on first floor breakfast space. They were unable to turn down the loud music because connected to lobby sound system. Location: Not close to city center but transit is so amazing in Bern it doesn't matter. Location was a non-issue.
