Short weekend stay in Berlin

lovely hotel with a good breakfast,rooms clean but slightly compact. A former Jail for women. On the roof a lovely pool but not heated so it was the cold Hoff treatment followed by a red hot sauna Finally a 15 euro taxi ride to the centre of Berlin,River etc but that doesn’t really bother you Overall a very nice hotel

Wilmina is a special hotel that they have clearly thought a lot about. The rooms are large, clean and bathrooms well appointed. Shower floors are a bit low quality and seem to be breaking. No AC on the older parts of the building unfortunately so with August heat was at times stuffy and hard to sleep. The pool was lovely and perfect temperature to cool down. The common areas were comfortable and we enjoyed the billiards and game lounge area. The restaurant was amazingly decorated but the menu didn’t quite live up to the decor particularly if you are vegetarian. The breakfast was good / would be better if they had some more hot options. Coffee was okay not great. Everything self-service. Parking was fairly convenient a block away in a safe garage which is connected to the hotel building but no clear way to access directly.

Do not believe the positive reviews. I have stayed at over 100 different hotels and by far this was the worst experience. You can pay 350 euros to sleep in a jail cell at Wilmina "hostel" or save the 350 euros and commit a petty crime and get free stay in berlin jail. I could here other guest every movement no sound barrier in this place. I arrived 9:30 pm and checked out 4:30 am and the refused refund for the second, so i paid $700 euros for 7 hours very uncomfortable stay. I was planning to visit Berlin for a week, but after this treatment i got on train back to amsterdam.

This is an extraordinary hotel, crafted from an extraordinary building with a dark past into a bright present. If you like your history, architecture and comfort this place is for you. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the facilities very comfortable. A luxurious aesthetic without being too poncy! Not sure about the cocktail premise but happy to give most things a go once! Great location for veggie restaurants and antique shops. Easy travel connections.

Seht gut!

It was the best hotel in Berlin. I stayed in a garden loft room for two days and it was really hard to go out. The room and bathroom were very clean, and I loved that the room had a view of a beautiful, well-maintained garden. The friendly staff and generous breakfast were all excellent. Recommend to everyone!

Vackert. Hotellet är värt ett besök, enbart för upplevelsen. Magisk innergård med en trädgård, vacker design och en takterass. Frukosten är bra, och det finns flera platser på hotellet att sitta ner eller arbeta på. Rummet var också stort och vackert. Och vår hund var varmt välkommen.

Dejligt hotel i Berlin

Vi havde tre overnatninger på Wilma.hotellet er helt nyt og virkelig i god stand værelset var helt perfekt , desværre var sengen alt for hård til vores smag Morgenmaden er rigtig dejlig og da vejret var godt så kunne vi spise ude i fængselsgården Hotellet ligger i Charlottenborg og der er masser af restauranter, vi var så uheldige at få stjålet vores sidespejle vi havde parkeret ude på vejen så book parkering gennem hotellet det er nok det sikreste Vi kommer gerne igen hvis vi er på de kanter
