A lot for your money

Great location with underground just outside. Clean and staff very helpful. Best price in Berlin and even free parking and Wi-Fi, amazing! Will be coming back and would highly recommend.

Somewhat outdated but comfortable

Comfortable hotel in West Berlin. This hotel feels past its prime and would need remodeling and a serious paint job. But despite that, rooms are comfortable and the bed is fantastic. There is plenty of parking space in the street near the hotel. And the hotel is located a block away from a delicious bakery named U-Bäck. Downtown Berlin is about 25 minutes away by car. There is also a subway stop next to the hotel. Nice staff.

Checking in went fine but they charged us a "tourist tax" which were never mentioned while booking. The breakfast were sub-par, mainly because of the slim selection, for example no bacon but hotdogs. The lock on the door didn't work, but otherwise the room were what one can expect from the priceclass. Good service from the staff.

Very expensive for what it is.

This hotel was very expensive for what it was. When we arrived in our room, there was no shampoo or shower gel in the dispensers. I had to ask at reception twice before they were filled. The hotel is located quite far from the centre of Berlin. The swimming pool is not heated and is too cold to enjoy, even on a warm day as it was during our stay. We were the only people in the pool and could only stay in for a couple of minutes before we had to get out due to the low temperature. The wifi is very poor. It is incredibly slow and only worked intermittently. I can't comment on the breakfast as it was not included with our stay (despite the high cost of our room) and was too expensive to pay for separately, so we decided to eat elsewhere. The room was a good size and fairly comfortable, but I can't really recommend this hotel for the reasons mentioned above. If it had been cheaper, it would have been worth it, but not for the price we paid.

After being there it want the right place to visit Berlin, just a little too far away, but the price reflected that, disappointed that the thing that were advertised weren’t available, although they said the hotel was full, the bar was not open at all during the stay, the advertised access to the gym was not available as they had stopped that, that should be changed. The hotel was ok, but not really nice location. At a £100 pounds a night it was ok.
