The room was very clean but the furnishings were more for function than comfort. The bed was a bit too low to the floor and firm for my back, but thats a personal issue- it may be just fine for many others. The staff was amazing and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant was not open the entire time we were there, and that was quite disappointing. There are restaurants around within a 15 minute walk or so. Overall we really liked the location, the staff and the town!disapaft

The Dorint is a lovely place to stay. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal and delicious. The facility is clean and it is evident that the hotel is meticulously cared for. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If I ever make it back to Potsdam, I will be staying here again!

The pool was closed for two days due to need of repair. The parking in the garage is expensive and the price is not given on the net. Hotel is superbly located for walks in Potsdam’s beautiful parks

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dorint. The room was big and the facilities were excellent. We didn't use the spa or sauna but they are available for a fee. Reception was very friendly and offered plenty or tourist advice. Onsite parking is available for a fee. For longer stays, if you forfeit room cleaning, they offer a bar drink voucher as a reward. Town centre or Sanssouci palace each about 15 minutes walk. The buffet breakfast was the best we have had.

Our stay at this Hotel was very nice. The Hotel was busy hosting a conference but our check in went smoothly and fast. Marcel at the front desk took the time to explain to us about the things to see and places to go, He was great. We even got a couple of perks thanks to Expedia . The pool was very nice and the breakfast was fabulous. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. It was a very pleasant stay.

Not great for young kids - pool has no shallow end, soap dispensers are fixed high on the wall throughout the hotel. Dinner menu has three items only. Taxis are very hard to come by.

First, I had like to say thank you to the Staff and all the people there that keep the hotel running. I got a package deal on Expedia “Hotel and Flight”. It had to be the greatest steal, cause the hotel was nice. Really nice, and my flight with Air Lingus was amazing. Thank you for creating opportunities for some of us to travel and enjoy other cultures and how others live and eat. If I’m all over the place explaining myself. I have to talk about the food. I ate like it was going out of fashion. Chicken, Fries, Vegetables, the burger, the meat, fish, food, can’t eat Onions. I devoured the plate all the time. Parents tell you finish your food on plate. I got to walk it off through the streets of Potsdam window shopping. Let’s just say you need to travel with your richer friends. I can keep writing about Dorint Hotel in Potsdam. You get the picture, travel there, it’s a lot of fun. Thanks you Expedia for the package deals. I hope to travel most of the known world meeting new people and eating every where. Love to you all out there exploring. P.S. If you don’t like walking around and not in Berlin, get a car rental package deal. Remember DO YOU🤗🤗🤗

The hotel itself is fine. But, check-in was probably the most unwelcoming event I’ve ever experienced. I, always polite, gave my details with a smile. The gentleman was miserable, barely two words out of the whole exchange, quite unwelcoming. Check-in details and communication of services available were non-existent. No direction to the restaurant or where breakfast would be served. Quite ride if I’m honest. The restaurant closed at 9 pm, so I had to spend an hour finding an Uber Eats. Thankfully, I managed to find somewhere, otherwise have gone to bed hungry. The bar, was ok, poor selection of snacks, fridge was poorly stocked too. I was really looking forward to visiting here. Underwhelmed and just a sad place to visit. The only redeeming part was the young lady welcoming guest in for breakfast. She had a great warm welcoming and a smile to match. Give her a pay raise and get her on reception!
