Smart rooms in a lovely building close to Ku'damm and the lively centre of Schöneberg. Good value for the standard of the accommodation. There is fairly limited staffing cover with the front desk only staffed between 3 and 11 which is a bit odd in a good hotel

This one used to be one of the best hotels in Berlin with Michelin-starred restaurant. Not anymore. Those days are long gone. Rooms are tired and badly in need of paint/update/renovation. As for service, the reception is only open from 3 PM which means you need leave your belongings into a unlocked room if arriving early. Great location thou right next to U-bahn station.

Poorly run hotel

The hotel has limited hours reception. If you call them you go to call center. The room has no towels at all due to incompetence. I asked breakfast staff (the only people there) and they did nothing. I called the national help desk and nothing. A four star hotel with no towels and no means to ask for them. Disgrace. It recommended. If you want to automate a hotel with no reception. You need competence.

The hotel is shocking and the worst experience I have ever had the misfortune to suffer. I already paid fully with Expedia and showed the receptionist my receipt with matching credit card number. He was insistent that we pay again for the three rooms. The hotel was filthy in the public areas and children running around constantly. It looked like it was a refugee hotel and not fit for city travellers. Avoid this hotel and it's rude staff at all costs.

Wir kamen ca. 23 Uhr nach einer langen Anreise an. Zunächst wurden wir in einem Zimmer untergebracht welches eindeutig nach der letzten Bewohnung nicht gereinigt wurde. Handtücher benutzt, Minibar leer, Müll voll, Bett benutzt und dreckig. Wir wurden dann nach ca. 30 Minuten Wartezeit in einem anderen Zimmer untergebracht. Als Wiedergutmachung können wir uns (aus der sowieso gratis) minibar etwas umsonst rausnehmen. Ohne Logik.. Die Karte für dieses Zimmer haben wir erst am nächsten Tag abends erhalten, weil das System nicht funktionierte. Das neue Zimmer war einigermaßen Sauber, wies aber trotzdem weitere Mankos auf wie das das Wasser in der Dusche nicht richtig abgelaufen ist, das man das Fenster nicht richtig schließen konnte, die Zimmertür konnte man von innen auch nicht richtig verschließen und der Boden sowie das Badezimmer waren dreckig. Der Saunabereich ist aktuell definitiv nicht nutzbar da dieses Zimmer als Abstellkammer genutzt wird. Wir werden hier nicht noch einmal nächtigen.

Hotellet har et fint potentiale. Det var som de var ved at bygge om. De gratis drikkevarer var der ikke. Der VAR et 52" TV... men ingen fjernbetjening. Vinduerne var så utætte at vi fik stor glæde af røgen fra dem der røg udenfor. Den ret dyre morgen vi havde betalt ekstra for, kunne ikke serveres fordi kokken var syg... i det hele taget lidt skuffende

Zimmer war staubig und schon lange nicht mehr geputzt worden. Zimmerservice fehlte gänzlich- Kein Bettenmachen, keine handtücher etc etc.. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer Seitenstraße. Dadurch ist es ruhig obwohl es zentral in der Nähe des Ku'damms liegt.

Im Zimmer waren einige Sachen defekt: Vorhänge, Klobrille, Duschkopf und Duschwand. Das Bad stand nach dem duschen unter Wasser. Auserdem klebte eine tote Fliege an der Wand im Bad. Insgesamt kein besonders gutes Ergebnis

Das Hotel kommt für mich nicht mehr infrage

Das Hotel punktet durch die Lage. Das Bett war bequem. Wie ansonsten die 4 Sterne zustande kommen, erschließt sich mir nicht. Das Zimmer war schlecht geputzt, die Fingerprobe auch im Schrank war notwendig. Die Möbel waren abgestoßen. Der Safe war nicht benutzbar, konnte auch in 3 Tagen nicht repariert werden. Im Waschbecken der separaten Toilette lag ein Zettel, dass das Becken kaputt sei. Unter dem Becken stand eine Plastikflasche (Ablauf war nicht repariert). Der Föhn war kaputt und wurde trotz Reklamation erst Stunden später ersetzt. Gut, dass das Wetter warm war und die Haare draußen trocknen konnten. Die Geschäftsführerin hat auf unsere Beschwere mitgeteilt, dass sie Zimmer wegen der IFA hat freigeben müssen, obwohl Mängelberichte vorgelegen hätten und Reparaturen nicht durchgeführt worden seien. Sie wollte sich bei hotel.de für eine Reduktion wegen der Mängel einsetzen, was auch nicht erfolgt ist.

Leider waren die Zimmer zum Check in (15:00 Uhr) noch nicht fertig. Auch der Versuch ein Zimmer bereitzustellen scheiterte. Das angeblich geprüfte Zimmer war noch nicht gereinigt. Das alternativ angebotene Zimmer war kein Doppel, sondern ein Einzelzimmer. Die Rezeption war eher in Englisch zu verstehen als in Deutsch. In der Dusche fehlt die Handbrause. Nach dem Duschen war das ganze Bad nass. Von den Steckdosen im Zimmer funktionierten nur zwei. Alle anderen (incl. Die des tvs) waren ohne Strom. Alles in allem wäre es ein schönes Hotel in guter Lage. Es müssten nur mal alle Missstände beseitigt werden.

Erwartungen nicht erfüllt

Es sollte etwas Geduld und Zeit mitgebracht werden, der Check-In hat ca. 45min gedauert. Nachdem ich das Zimmer bezogen habe, ist mir sofort aufgefallen, dass die Minibar, welche mit Wasser, Softgetränk und Saft gefüllt sein sollte und im Preis inklusive ist, nicht gefüllt war. Ich habe sofort die Rezeption informiert, daraufhin wurde mir eine Flasche Wasser angeboten, welche bereits angebrochen war. Nachdem ich darauf hingewiesen habe wurden mir unter unverständlichen Kommentaren des Mitarbeiters 1 kleine Flasche Wasser und 1 Apfelsaft angeboten. Am nächsten Tag habe ich erneut darauf hingewiesen und mir wurde versprochen, dass die Minibar aufgefüllt ist. Aber wie bereits gedacht, ist dies nicht erfolgt. Die Zimmer sind groß und das Bett bequem, aber die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere das Badezimmer und die Möbeloberflächen, welche teilweise sehr schmierig waren. Die Rezeption ist leider nicht immer besetzt, aber dies ist auch vorab auf der Homepage zu lesen.

Das Gebäude ist wunderschön ... allerdings sieht man was passiert, wenn ein 4 Sterne Unterkunft kein Personal mehr hat. Die Rezeption ist nur von einer einzelnen Dame in der Zeit von 15-19 Uhr besetzt. Alles absolut heruntergekommen und dreckig, sowohl im öffentlichen Bereich und insbesondere auf den Zimmern. Ich hatte in meiner Suite zerissene Gardinen, kaputtes Mobiliar, vollgekotzte Kissen, unsaubere Sanitäreinrichtung, Safe und Zimmer waren nicht abschliessbar. Auf dem Flur lagen Putzmittel und Toilettenartikel auf einem Sessel herum. Machte den Eindruck, das man die Zimmer selber putzen sollte. In der ersten Nacht wurde mein Reisebegleiter im Nachbarzimmer während des Schlafes ausgeraubt!!! Durc die Polizei wurde festgestellt, dass Niemand nachts im Hotel anwesend ist und es nur eine Überwachung durch die Kamera gibt. Habe das Hotel leider erst nach der zweiten Nacht für die ich nochmal 200€ bezahlt habe, verlassen können. Weil ich als alleinreisende Frau Angst hatte hab ich mir einen Stuhl unter die Türklinke geklemmt ... weil das Zimmer wie bereits erwähnt nicht abschliessbar war. Möchte gern wissen wo ich die Unterkunft verklagen kann? Habe selbstverständlich Beweisfotos gemacht und kann durch meinen Bekannten auch den entsprechenden Polizeibericht besorgen.
