But for us just for a day it made no sense, I thought I was getting a hotel at the beachfront close to Obidos, it’s more of a vacation village 25 min drive from Obidos. "This is a storybook property, very quaint and charming. This is an old property though so don’t expect anything modern. Also, if you are a large person the small doors and hallways might be uncomfortable. This property is on-a walking street only about 1/3 mile to parking and a minute walk to the castle. Google maps originally put us on a very winding road that goes to the castle, don’t go this way, google Obidos Parking instead and avoid the windy roads."
