Lovely stay, very friendly family who made us feel very welcome. The location is super right in the centre of the old town and close to all the local attractions. We would definitely recommend this place to others, thank you very much for a lovely stay.
Great host , perfect breakfast , location the best and very helpful host ,
Nothing any bother answered any questions we had about area and sorted taxi . Absolute pleasure to stay in this b&b thankyou
It is a very charming property of 5 rooms. Mauro makes feel very welcome and is extremely helpful! Bergamo Alta is an amazing city and easy to get to with the funicular or the city bus from airport or train station
A beautiful historic property , lovingly maintained by owner Gianmauro.
His video for locating and entering property was so useful and he was a very informative about the tourist sites and attentive at breakfast . Very close to Piazza Vecchia and 5 min walk to shops and the funicular to lower town
Excellent location. Host very helpful and friendly. Stopped 3 nights however during this time the towels weren’t changed which meant we were drying ourselves with damp towels as the room had no facilities for fresh air due to it’s ground floor/basement location
The boiler for this and the room upstairs was in this room so was firing up when other guest wanted hot water, definitely not a deal breaker but just something to note
Description also stated tea/coffee.. there was a kettle, fridge and cups but no stock of coffee milk etc
Breakfast was simple but filling and served by the friendly host
Not a problem leaving bags with them until it was time to leave
Point to note -there is no tv in the room -wasn’t an issue to us, but just in case you expect one!
This is a fantastic place to stay. It is only 5 minutes from the funicular in the citta Alta and 2 minutes from the central square. The accomodation is very unique_ almost as if set in the walls. Breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, cheese and ham. The host was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
The room was much more than we were expecting, spacious, with a small kitchen area with kettle. Bed was comfy, and nice seatimg area. The shower room had a few stairs down to it, was well lit and very clean. The host was excellent, he allowed us to stay past check out time, due to a late flight. Breakfast was nice.
Gianmauro was an excellent host. He collected us from the airport and from then on his service was perfect. Our room was beautiful and there was a rooftop garden to relax in, read, drink wine or whatever.
We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Bergamo. There is no finer recommendation than that.
We spent about two weeks travelling through Northern Italy and this place was the best stay of the whole trip. The room itself was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom/shower was really nice and the location was perfect (be prepared for the crazy loud church bells at 7:30 AM every morning though, but you will hear those everywhere you stay in the old town). However, one cannot review this place without giving a special mention to the owner. Kind and extremely helpful, he will be the highlight of your stay. Make sure to buy some things at his adjacent shop; everything we tried was delicious. I highly recommed the walnut cream, it's spectacular.

Fantastic week in Citte Alta Bergamo
We had a varied breakfast every morning. We were picked up at the Airport. We arrived late so were grateful. Mauro was vey helpful and pleasant. He suggested a room change because of Eileen’s disability which worked well. He is a wine buff so we had a couple of excellent wines in our fridge. We then move onto French wine from the Carrefour as it is difficult to source in Greece. I would highly recommend the Apartment for location too.

Different Room from Advertised
We arrived and were informed there was a problem with the room so we were staying at a different address about 100 metres away, they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage though while we waited for the room, unfortunately I was given the wrong address so had to run back in the rain to get the correct address. Thankfully the luggage had been moved to our room The room was clean but not the room we’d paid for, the hostess was very friendly and breakfast was good but although I was told and email was sent about the room change I never received it.
