HONTEUX. Aucune couverture dans notre chambre. Le personnel a du passer de chambre en chambre pour en récupérer car aucun stock disponible. Résultat : des "couvertures" supposées à usage unique mais réutilisées, trouées, sales. Salle de bain : des rouleaux de papier toilette entamés, avec des tâches dont je préfère ne pas réfléchir à la provenance. Une seule carte-clef pour une chambre de trois. Et pour un prix plus élevé qu'ailleurs. Absolument scandaleux.

Good stay

Was good for what you pay for. Only issue is you cant adjust the aircon. But other than that the place was clean, you have a balcony. Shower was decent. They supplied with soap and shampoo. There is no reception so if you need anything its difficult process.

Amazing value, but basic.

A little disappointing. This place is forgivably basic, given it's price, a balcony, modern en-suite, very comfortable bed, A/C, and TV (all Spanish, but I used it for the radio channels) are all provided. Hot drinks are available at reception. However, this hostal certainly isn't clean, there's mould in the bathroom, the balcony was filthy, and the sliding doors didn't lock (3 out of 5 of us had this problem with our rooms). The check-in took an absolute age (like an hour), but the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. This hostal is definitely worth the price, you just need to be prepared for its short-comings.

No nos ha gustado nada,no somos exigentes pero un minimo de atenciones son basicas y este hotel no las cumple,llegamos a las 15 horas hora de entrada segun pone en la pagina web, segun ellos las 16 horas hora de entrada.alli no habia nadie,,horario laboral del hotel es de 16 a 22 nos abrio la chica de la limpieza desde el telefonillo que hay en la entrada,al entrar queriamos dejar las maletas en algun sitio seguro ,no vimos a nadie,metimos las maletas en el coche y nos fuimos a la playa.La limpieza deja mucho que desear,la cama de mi hijo partida en dos,nos la cambiaron.Mugre en el servicio .Algo positivo es que la zona y el hotel en si es muy tranquilo,nada de ruido,barato y para unos dias de playa esta bien,queda todo muy cerquita.La partida lo mismo nadie por alli,se dejan las llaves en una bandeja que hay en recepcion.

Excellent small hotel in the heart of the Old Town

This is my second stay at the Blue Beach. If anyone is looking for a clean, good value hotel then this is for you. 5 minute walk to Poniente Beach. Lavante Beach a few minutes longer. The hotel itself is in the old town & there are numerous shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Rooms are very spacious & I was surprised at how comfy the bed was. Shower is good. The hotel staff are friendly & helpful. There are also bikes for hire and tea & coffee available at reception as well as vending machine. Also a seating area, with microwave & fridge for guests. If you have a late flight you can leave your cases come back later & use the large shower room down stairs. Overall this is a little gem for couples & groups of friends.
