"This property is in bad need of an update. The carpets are worn. The walls are damaged and dirty. The bathroom in our room had numerous odors emitting from it at different times of the day - something skunky, something sewer-like and just plain mildew. The floor was worn and waterlogged. The shower curtain didn’t reach the entire length of the tub so it was easy to splash water onto the floor while showering. Someone on the floor above us was running annd stomping around until after 1. The room...

"Staff were lovely, but the room was too hot with no heat or A/C controls. No mini fridge, no ice & only one towel for the two of us."

The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi. Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful. We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel.
