8/10 Good
"I was reading the reviews and was surprised by how negative many were. I guess we were among the lucky ones because we stayed in one of the renovated rooms. I typically stay in a suite at Marriott in Tremblant, so I have something to compare it to. Although our room here was not a suite, it was completely renovated, extremely clean, and comfortable. It was a two-level room, with the bedroom upstairs overlooking the water, plus a fabulous patio with a beautiful water view. The restaurant food was delicious. It was pricey, but comparable to Tremblant Village, and the service was excellent. Overall, except for check-in, all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, during check-in I encountered a very rude and hostile staff member named Cheryl. In all my travels, I have never experienced this kind of behavior, and I was upset enough to contact the General Manager, Corey. Corey handled my concern very professionally. He was understanding, apologized, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would look into it. I really appreciated his response. The resort is clearly undergoing renovations and has a lot of potential. Based on our experience, I recommend asking for a renovated section when booking. Despite the unfortunate check-in experience, we had a wonderful stay. The renovated room, beautiful water view, excellent food, and friendly staff made it very enjoyable."

Picton Harbour Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Literally everything about this hotel was perfect. The communication with the hotel prior to check-in and during our stay was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced everyday. The AC was A-1! Important when it's 38 degrees with the humidity. It's very conveniently located and we had a gorgeous view. The Lighthouse Restaurant, which is attached, serves the best breakfast ever and everyone there is sweet as pie! The Picton Harbour Inn could teach a master class in customer service. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Two notes: there isn't a pool and make sure you ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. Other than that, perfection!"

"The condo was very nice and clean. It is centrally located in Picton so you can walk into town. There was great space for relaxing and a nice outdoor space. The internet/wifi is very shoddy (not really the owner's fault). When we had questions the owner got back to us quickly. It is a nice place for a couple to stay when visiting PEC."
