This hotel is more than one star!

I can't understand why this hotel is rated one-star only. It should be three. Service is friendly and helpful, room we stayed was super clean and the bathroom was renovated nicely with large showering facilities. If you see a lake Como from your window, you can't tell bad things about the view either. Breakfast is Italian style so please don't expect sausages and beans. But everything they serve is fresh and tasty, a nice breakfast that is! I'd say the only thing that was a bit annoying was the fact that we could clearly hear everything the guests in the room next to us were saying and doing (windows closed that is). So the walls are not too thick..

Great place to stay!!

Our room was beautiful - looking out at the lake was a great way to relax at night. The bathroom was great - clean with a great shower. There is no elevator, but the stairs are pretty easy to maneuver. I read some of the reviews that seemed pretty negative, but that was absolutely not the impression I got. Clean, Beautiful view, nice staff, and close to all the hiking trails.

DONT STAY AT SUISSE HOTEL !!

Our stay at suisse hotel was terrible. The service was bad. Our first room was not ready. Second room had blood on the sheets/not ready. Third room was a "suite", they where renovating the room next door, a lot of noise in the evening and night. The "manager" did not want to discusse this with us. When we did the ckeck-out the manager was not there. We got her on the phone, she said to us, after we said we wanted a little disscount. 《what do you expect of our one star hotel, you complained yesterday too. You must pay full price》. Absoluttly terrible "manager", One positive thing, the view from the room is beautiful. But the hotel is to expensive for what you get back, choose another hotel. We had breakfast included, nothing to boast about. Dry bread and cornflakes in bags. The hotel is bad. You can hear everything between the walls of the rooms, bad management. This is not a recommendable hotel. Stay away.

Great location and staff.

The location can not be beat. The stafe was very friendly a d helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is ourstanding. The room is comfortable and haf a great veiw of the lake. If you are looking for a modern hotel this is not it. Its got a old world charm. Yes its older and needs a few small fixes but its comfortable and located perfectly for see the entire town.

This hotel is terrible. As soon as we got there, they had informed us they had screwed up our Expedia reservation and that they booked us in a neighboring hotel. Right off the bat, I was disappointed. They did not make up for it in any way, and made the beginning of our journey in Bellagio absolutely terrible. Even though they booked us at a neighboring hotel, they still made us pay up front. I was fine with it, as we did not have to pay at the other hotel. BUT, as soon as we left Bellagio, Hotel Suisse charged us a second time on my credit card. We are still disputing the charge to this day and are so unhappy. I called Hotel Suisse and they admitted to charging us twice and that they would get it sorted out, repay me, and contact me via phone and email again. Never got a call, nor my money. Do not stay here!!! Much better places in Bellagio anyways. Staff are not helpful and ruined a dream vacation in a myriad of ways.

Property is in an excellent location on the waterfront and steps from the ferry station. Lots of restaurants around. This is the main area of town so there is some street noise. Rooms have an old style but are very clean and charming.

Möchtegern Promis im Dorf

Naja nochmal würde ich weder Bellagio noch das Suisse Hotel buchen. Zu Bellagio: einfach klein , überfüllt mit Möchtegern Promis und welche die nach Ihnen Ausschau halten. Nach der 4 ten Runde in der Ortschaft haben wir beschlossen doch lieber nach Mailand zu fahren. Zum Hotel: Der Inhalt des Frühstückangebots ist abgezählt und es wurden nicht Mal Tomaten und Gurken, Oliven angeboten, was eigentlich zu einem mediterranem Frühstück einfach dazugehört. Die stets unfreundliche Servieren hatte den Charme eines Bauarbeiters wenn er nicht genug Bier bei der Arbeit hatte. Das Frühstück wurde nur im Innenraum serviert, trotz einer Terrasse die zum Frühstück besser geeignet wäre und einen schöneren Start in den Urlaubstag geboten hätte. Fazit: die sogenannte Kurtaxe von 6 Euro war das I-Tüpfelchen. Billig waren die Zimmer nicht und beim Kauf über das Portal stand auch nichts davon, trotzdem bestand die "charmante" Servicetermin beim Check-out auf diese Summe.

Fantastic location and room was ideal for what we needed. We had a lake view room. Fan was provided. Entrance was unclear and no formal reception, you just entered through the restaurant.

Bon emplacement

L'hôtel est très bien situé ce qui est l'atout principal de cet hotel. Le batiment est ancien donc les chambres le sont aussi mais disons que cela ajoute un certain charme. Par contre la literie n'est pas tres confortable (simple sommier à lattes), il n'y a pas de clim donc il fait assez chaud en été, et il ne faut pas etre regardant sur les finitions, mais vous trouverez tout le nécessaire pour passer une nuit correcte. Pour une halte de 2 ou 3 nuits cet hotel est parfait de par son emplacement. Si vous souhaitez le confort avant tout, cet hotel n'est pas pour vous, d'autant que les chambres sont toutes en étages sans ascenseur.

Tres vétuste

L’hotel Est très bien placé avec une très belle vue sur le lac. Par contre la chambre est vraiment pas confortable avec un mobilier très vieux. Une ampoule au plafond sans lustre. Salle de bain sans tablette pour poser ses affaires.... et tout cela pour 150€. Scandaleux

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Seesicht auf der obersten Etage erhalten. Das Hotel ist ein sehr altes traditionsreiches Haus ohne Lift aber mit orgininalerhaltenen Stukkaturen etc. Das Bad im Zimmer ist renoviert wobei der Charme des Hauses nicht verändert wurde. Es versteht sich von selbst dass bei so einem alten Haus immer wieder Renovationen anfallen. Dennoch hat das Haus Charme und eignet sich gut für einen Kurzurlaub.

Beautiful lake views from our balcony. Nice breakfast included. Had an exceptional dinner with warm outside dining. Loved our stay. Grazie mille to the staff who made my birthday celebration memorable.
