"What a great place to end a hectic vacation. This may have been a last minute decision but it was a good one. We were met by friendly and gracious owners and staff. Such a serene atmosphere with unique rooms, a spa, restaurant, garden and pool. Staff could not be more accommodating. We were blessed to find them. Thank you so much."

"A little slice of paradise! The old converted farmhouse is beautiful and charming. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room huge by any standard especially for Europe. Beautiful pool and fruit and flower trees everywhere! Two very sweet but large dogs, so keep that in mind if tou are afraid of dogs. My eight-year-old and four-year-old loved them. You need a car here as everything is a 5 minute drive away including the train. The host was for than helpful and accommodating,...

"What a gem. Beautiful setting and grounds, and the perfect blend of a little bit vintage with great updates. (Rainfall shower heads! ) Rue and his son went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Early check in when I arrived , no problem. When I came in out of the rain, they put my clothes in the dryer. I had an early departure , they arranged a taxi for me and made me a sandwich to take as I left before breakfast was served . Lovely hotel and lovely people . "

"This place was a gem to find in Sintra! The location was wonderful, the rooms were spotless, the staff was helpful and courteous. It was a short walk to their sister hotel which hosted a wine tasting happy hour each night we were there and we were welcome to use the pool there as well. "Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!"

"Small, boutique hotel that had numerous cosy seating areas and lounges. We were upgraded to a suite and had a separate lounge. Just beautiful in every way. Black out shutters, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Host was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant food out rounding and much better than local village. Couldn’t get a more perfect location. Walk down the hill 5 minutes to the village of Sintra and up the hill 5 mins to the Iniation Well and Palace. Cannot fault this place. "
