"This property is quite remote. I don’t recommend trying to find it in the dark- although we were sent very good instructions. This place encourages mingling with other guests and we had a delightful time with a British and a Swedish couple around the huge fireplace and at the communal dining table. It is well worth requesting the dinner for$€30 a person including wine."

"Lovely hotel with great service our dog maisie was quite a center of atention with the owners. We went for a meal and owners said it was ok to leave our dog in room . We never done this in the past but couldnt find a resturant that allowed dogs. On our return it turned out maisie wouldnt stop crying so owner let her out room and looked after till we returned. Such a lovely thing to do. "
