Big plus points were the friendliness of the owners,the quality of the breakfasts and the general cleanliness of the motel. However, there was simply no service, as we were told there would be no servicing of the room. If we wanted the rubbish bins cleared, we were to leave the make up my room sign and they would be. We couldn’t find anyone to speak to on the morning concerned and left the sign on our door. The bins were never cleared-we did it ourselves. We also needed to make out a breakfast order when we arrived, but had no order form in our room. When we asked for a form from the office, we were told by a young girl that there was a form in our room and, essentially, just look for it. I’m unsure if complete withdrawal of service was a directive from the Victorian government, but it certainly doesn’t encourage interstate travellers like us travelling long distances to help boost long suffering Victorian businesses out of COVID lockdown. Across the border in Corowa, NSW, we experienced no such problems!
