I didn’t like the check in which was a person on a monitor who wasn’t very friendly. Apparently the hotel doesn’t think enough of their guests to greet them face to face. My nephew was looking forward to getting in the pool but the pool was closed the whole time. I had to request a smoke alarm because the one in our room was missing. The eggs were awful, they were dry and had no taste. When I called the office to ask a question the person on the phone was rude and acted like he had better things to do than answer my questions and hung up on me before I was finished. The room was fairly clean, the blueberry muffins were good and they did replace the smoke alarm the next day.

It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Room was mostly clean although the shower had some mold and the chair was stained. Stayed for a Military Graduation. You check in by kiosk and if you need any towels or anything you have to go to the kiosk which was kind of a pain. Ice machine was not working. The place is under construction, but for the price and the purpose it wasn’t horrible. There is a lovely marsh view in the back. The pool was decent.

Design of the hotel is nice. Pull up checkin pull over to your room walk up. Its a nice clean friendly safe place for family friends to gather rest and conduct every basic business needs if needed. Thanks Howard Johnson for making us feel at home.

Parking was easy. Never seen anyone one from the staff. Breakfast set was very nice. The bathroom wall needed repainting. You can tell they tried to remodel the e rooms for hired a 3-party company to do the job. It was easy to check in and check out. It was close to a couple stores and restaurants for the convivence.

This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. We came into town for a military graduation, expecting a comfortable and stress-free stay, and unfortunately, that was far from what we experienced. For starters, there is no in-person assistance readily available. Instead, you’re expected to communicate with someone named Paul through a screen. If you need actual assistance, you have to repeatedly request it—and even then, getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible. We had to call a gazillion times just to reach Paul. Unfortunately, that wasn’t even the worst of it. The hallways smelled strongly of weed, and our screen door was shattered. When we brought this to the hotel manager’s attention, we were told it was caused by a “small rock,” which did not make the situation any better. At that point, we immediately decided to check out. Even leaving was unnecessarily difficult, as we were given a hard time getting our deposit back. To make matters worse, we were not offered a refund for the room despite the condition of the property and our experience. I will be disputing the charge with my card company and escalating this matter to another supervisor. We came here for an important family event and should not have had to deal with this level of inconvenience, poor communication, and lack of accountability. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before booking a stay here.

Loved the view from 2nd floor of peaceful Marsh scene behind hotel and the 2 beautiful large flowing trees in front of hotel. Also liked the easy access to the room. It was a nice stay.

the room was fine. the grounds were covered in ant piles. my kid stepped in a bunch. there was no staff on premises for the front desk making simple tasks way harder than need be. everything was done through a robot and was very inconvenient. i will never be back.

The beds were so comfortable and very clean, the view was also amazing. I was shocked on how modern it is. Someone checks you in and out through a large facetime screen. Overall I would stay here again.

Ok hotel for last minute plans

I picked this hotel because it was a last minute plan change but Overall the hotel was ok, the bedroom did have a lot of dead bugs and the bed sheets had stains on it so we slept with our own blankets, our first room didn’t have a working A/c unit but once I told them about it they gave us another room with no issues which was nice and the pool was kept clean and it’s good size plus it has a deep end at 8 1/2
