"They only clean the room once every three days. We requested additional towels from room service since we like to shower every day, and they didn't arrive. Had a suboptimal breakfast experience. The frozen eggs didn't get heated all the way through. The waffle maker is always a plus. The front desk worker when we checked in and out was great, but it was unattended late at night when we needed help."

"If you stay in an interior room of the hotel I rate it 4 stars BUT the external entrance room 111 on the ground floor was dirty, curtains dangling from rod, door lock loose, worn furniture and carpet filthy, sunlight and air coming through the door, smoking allowed outside the room and everyone who came there to smoke , you hot their second hand smoke through the AC and crack in door entrance. "Suited our purposes for a short stay. Room was fine, though bathrooms are dated and there were some questionable hairs on the walls and ceiling. Wifi, ice machine, and air conditioning all worked well. Breakfast included was plentiful and had a good selection, and location was convenient with lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby."

"Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find our room very clean and spacious! The bathroom was immaculate and had dispensers in the shower with shampoo and conditioner along with body wash. The towels were a good size and sparkling white. The bed linens were clean and soft. And my husband loved the hot tub in the room! The staff were friendly and helpful with ideas for restaurants. If we come this way again we will certainly stay at the Super 8!"

"Expedia is horrible always default the different date even after you put the date you choose it changes a day so when you click on reservation, you find yourself booked a hotel somewhere else in a different day"

"Did not even have a coffee pod in my room. Boxes upon boxes stacked in the dirty front desk area. Building and grounds grossly neglected. Was not expecting it to be this bad. My advice to the front desk woman was to sell the property asap. Avoid until massive renovations are done."

"We reserved 2 nights. I looked at the room before paying for it. I did not look at the bedding that was turned down and the linen was misty smelling and to find the coverlets were very dirty on he top edges that you pull up. I told one of the cleaning ladies about it and she told me she would tell the cleaning lady for the first floor when she arrived. "Although it definitely is showing its age and could use an update, we were satisfied with our stay. It's a good location for hiking and close to several good food places (within 15 minutes). The air conditioning was nice and cool and the beds were decent. All my interactions with staff were pleasant and they helped whenever possible. I wish the breakfast area had a bit more room for people getting food, waiting, and then seating because everything was super close together, but not impossible to...

"No outdoor outlets for evs and the neighborhood isn’t great, but we didn’t have any issues otherwise. $75 pet fee in addition to $125 deposit was exorbitant! Even worse was the fact that the fee wasn’t mentioned until check-in and even then wasn’t detailed anywhere in writing, so they could pretty much charge whatever they wanted, which is shady as hell. The pool was small but clean, the room and beds were clean, and the breakfast was excellent."
