Located on the river a 15 minute walk from the city center. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking. Reception staff were great. Food very good. Great breakfast buffet to start the day. Highly recommend!

You can do better!
We have been traveling for 6 weeks throughout France. This the only hotel that no one came to empty garbage or change towels for a stay of 3 nights. No hand towels were provided . Room was not well equipped and bathroom lighting was VERY dim.

A notice is posted at the reception informing you that cleaning is only done at the client's request. This message is also given verbally upon arrival. Without the client's permission, we do not enter the rooms because of the covid. Our teams are present 24 hours a day. All you have to do is come and see us. Have a nice day.

The location is not bad. The hotel is modern, the rooms are large. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. No complaints whatsoever

a night at Bayone
Although situated on a traffic road into the city, it was at walking distance and on the boarder of the river touching Bayone. Staff of the hotel was very helpful and friendly and a decent was provided. We only stayed one night traveling through France but enjoyed the old city and it's delicious food circuit.

As a sleeping stop, it's fine.
The three person room is very tight. So if you're staying for sleep only it's fine. They are short staffed when it comes to manning the bar and the front desk. While having a drink, I saw one guest wait for 10 minutes or more for an employee to show up. Parking lot is very small, so getting a spot in the secure area is no guarantee.

We slept in a sauna.
There was no A/C though it is still claimed on their website. The hotel claimed the room would be cooled by cold water in underfloor pipes. The room was a furnace. The hotel supplied a fan! Avery well appointed room, but ... Also, the restaurant is only open two days a week. Something else you are not told. Could or would not recommend a restaurant near by. So, a lovely hotel if you want to stay in a sauna.

Location was not the best compared to the other Ibis hotel. Staff on arrival was excellent but I was not assisted in using the computer and was expected to be able to speak French to get a bus ticket which I struggled with

I love the area where this is, easy to go for a lovely walk along the river. There is nothing I don't like about this hotel, I have used it a few times and have never had any complaints.

Perfect overnight stop
Hotel was an ideal choice for an overnight stay on our way to southern Spain, easy to find from the motorway plus the added bonus of a secure car park ( 9 euros ) which was an essential with the car fully laden. Check in done by a very helpful lady whose English was far better than our atrocious French. Hotel very close to the town centre just a short walk over the bridge across the river. Very comfy bed ensures a much needed rest after a long days drive.

Nice stay...would stay here again
Walkable distance from train station and the city center that is across the bridge. The room is the standard for this class of IBIS. Clean and modern. Very nice shower. A/C was not working.

We had a great stzy
Stayed here for two nights. Walking distance from train station and city center. Safe area. The lobby is quite nice and trendy looking. Our room was recently renovated. The bed was ultra confortable in all white linens. The room is just big enough. You can tell that the furniture was design to maximize on space. The bathroom although small was immaculate looking with a nice spa shower.

A wonderful stay....staff are all excellent... 10 min walk into Bayonne or 2 buses stop outside hotel (also go to airport or Biarritz for 1 euro) We preferred Bayonne to Biarritz although both are really nice...will be back

A relaxing stay for two in Bayonne
We were glad that the hotel provided a very good choice of evening meals on a Sunday. The restaurant and reception service was friendly and very good. It was very convenient to have on-site parking at the hotel.
