"hotel was definitely turned into a chain hotel and lost the integrity of what the diplomat used to be. the adult pool was not cleaned daily, staff at the beach were very helpful and accommodating. However, staff at guest/bell services were unpleasant."

"Beautiful place, amazing beach and resort views from our room. Beds were so comfortable, our in room jacuzzi was everything. Everyone was helpful and kind. The entire vibe and ambiance is just what I needed after the longest Ohio winter ever. Also the passion fruit mojito made by the skilled bar tender at the main lobby bar was perfection! Couldn’t have been more pleased with this stay for my 40th birthday! will definitely book here again next time I visit the area !"

"We had a fantastic stay here. The service was absolutely first-class from start to finish, and the staff was super attentive and very helpful throughout our trip. The pool area is amazing and definitely a highlight. We did have a couple of minor maintenance issues when we first arrived (the electricity was out in our room and the ice machine was down), but the team addressed and fixed them incredibly quickly. Highly recommend it for the top-notch hospitality!"

"I loved my room. Staff was very friendly. My only issue is that the hotel has day passes and room passes, since it was memorial day it was overly crowded for my taste, overbooked, no lounge chairs or towels at the pool or beach. I will Recommended, but never on holidays."
