"great location for getting in and out of the old town. lovely bar area, with a great sports bar if you didn’t want to take in the nightlife Riga had to offer. Spa was very basic, we had spa access booked in with our stay, and they tried to charge us extra when we checked in…. when shown confirmation the guy checking us in kind of grunted then gave us a pass- we had friends checking into a suite next to us who were treated like kings and queens whilst we had a standard room and were their paupers!! the breakfast was terrible… absolute waste of money for €20 each! we asked for breakfast tea and again were just grunted at by the waiting staff!! hotel was clean , bedrooms plenty of space and all the facilities we needed for 4 nights. Hairdryer was amazing!!! overall we had a good stay"
