"Our room was comfortable and exactly what I booked and what we needed for a night. Clean. The staff was helpful. Parking available.We are satisfied with our stay. "This property was a dream, very clean room and friendly staff. We had a perfect view of the monastery. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was excellent. It was a perfect stop in our Portugal road trip. Will definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was fine. Clean, friendly staff, much better than average parking at the back door. Good breakfast and nice facilities. There is one negative, though and for tourists in need of internet it is a real problem. The internet at the hotel was almost un usable in our room. This was the standard of internet from 15 years ago. Very weak signal, unable to load pages, let alone actually stream anything. I was stronger but not good closer to the reception. I had to burn through data using my cell phone as a hot spot with an e sim. This is just not acceptable in a current day hotel. Hotel staff were sympathetic but offered no real solutions. For tourists needing to check in on line for flights this is a real deal breaker. The hotel is too good to have this black mark. Decent high speed internet should be the default not a luxury."

"What a beautiful property and the spa circuit is wonderful from the steam room, cold plunge bucket, dry sauna to the indoor heated pool & Turkish bath. The rooms are lovely and the staff are so attentive. Breakfast was wonderful as well including omelettes made on request. Great location. The morning fog/mist rose up above the monastery, lovely. They have a conference room that can seat 100 people and I would definitely consider hosting an event there. 10/10 highly recommend. "

"Overall hotel was cleaned shame that staff wasn't welcome at all except a gentleman on breakfast who was amazing with us. The lady on the reception who seam to be from management team was on phone talking load on phone by the reception about person issues whitch l fpund not profissional as that could be discussed in private room "

"Absolutely amazing!A huge and truly stunning villa with an incredible swimming pool — perfect for serious lap swimming. The poolside bar is fantastic for hosting events and birthday parties — you could easily seat a small army and enjoy quality time together.One of the best places we've ever stayed at!"
