Fairmont Austin

10/10 Excellent
"The Fairmont was excellent. The location was great! The staff were very helpful and professional. The entire hotel was clean including our room. We loved the Gold lounge for its conveinence and amenities, breakfast, snacks, drinks and desserts were all wonderful . The outdoor pool was welcome during the very HOT weather! The floating lounge chairs and umbrella covered areas were so relaxing .Great stay!"

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

8/10 Good
"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great for kids and families with lots of areas to explore and activities. We used the pool, lazy river, road bikes, walked the trails along the river, star gazing with telescopes they sent up one night, family movie on the lawn, and made smores at the fire pit. The staff was friendly, everyone from valet, bell hop, check-in and restaurant service. The only challenge was getting dinner reservations with a large group as the resort was very busy the weekend we went (we got reservations weeks before we arrived). Fortunately, we were able to eat at the steakhouse, which was very good. We had the ribeye and tomahawk steaks and they were prepared perfectly. We also had the breakfast buffet and breakfast from the coffee and ice cream shop, both were very good. Very pleased with all the food on site. This was a perfect weekend getaway and the kids loved it too. Next time we'll try some fishing at the pond and the golf course."
