Great hotel outside of the main shopping areas, the Basel card that bloom provides gives you free transit to anywhere in the city making this a great location that is only 5-10 minutes away from the inner city.

Good hotel for business trip

Very nice and clean hotel. The only thing to improve is the fact of having better ventilation in the room (no air conditioning), so it could be hot during summer.

Very convenient, clean and modern. The room was a little small but still acceptable. The only I would add is a shelf or two in the bathroom. Not much space to put your things. Overall a very nice place with wonderful people!

Lovely stay in Basel!

Nice boutique hotel with a great location. We were greeted by very friendly staff, Ronan was at the front desk, he gave recommendation on things to do as well directions, he was sure to point out the perk of our discount card as well as free transportation. Room was cozy and clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had a lovely stay at Bloom hotel in Basel. Great room, great breakfast, very very kind and helpful people who work there (they speak so many languages as well :) ) , public transport is 2 minutes away, various restaurants and shops are reachable by foot… I can sincerely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Basel. Thank you for everything and I hope to see you once again in the future.

Good location

Nice location,takes tram no.2 to messeplaza.hotel is about 3 mins walk. The room is a little bit small for three,but it is a good hotel. Most important of all,the staff are friendly and glad to help.

Friendly staff and a clean, bright space with good blinds. However, the cold concrete floors and lack of storage for clothing are downsides. It feels a bit pricey for what you get.

This was our first stay after a long international travel day. It was 36C in Basel and with no air conditioning in the room and only a small table fan it was like trying to sleep in a sauna. We barely slept, found a cockroach in our room at 3:00am and finally just got up and left the room at 5:00am to walk around until 7:00am when we could come back for our breakfast and then leave for our next destination. The breakfast itself was lovely, or at least it seemed nice after not eating for 24 hours previous. I wanted to like this hotel as it seemed like a great option but unfortunately it just turned out horribly.
