After a travel mishap we were lucky to stumble upon Duomo Guest House on Expedia. It was not only perfectly priced for an unexpected extra night of vacation, but also in a prime location! Michele was a delightful host and even upgraded our room for us. The newly renovated room and bathroom was perfect and our balcony offered quaint views of Barletta. The shower was so nice, and the mattress super comfortable. The building, being a historic convent was such a cool place to stay in. Michele shared a clear pride for his city and gave us some tips on how to spend our evening. We had a delightful complimentary breakfast at a local cafe, where I had one of the best cornettos that I've had in Italy! We had never expected to visit Barletta, but thanks to Duomo Guest House, we definitely anticipate coming back next time were in Puglia.
