"The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. "

"The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. "Horrible service. Did not stay due to a missed flight and poor communication with the property. Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults. Decided to cut ties and stay at a much nicer hotel in Arusha instead of further dealing with...

"Amazing don't actually capture how wonderfully this place is. My room was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you will find on a luxurious hotel in a big city. The lodge is perched on a hillside overlooking a huge and gorgeous valley. I can lounge on my patio seats all day looking at the valley. Breakfast needs a bit of improvement, but lunch and dinner offerings were quite delicious. Those guys will feed you to death if you let them. I definitely recommends this wonderfully...
