Space and comfort in Barcelona

I was there for a conference and my husband as a tourist. We phoned ahead a couple of days prior to arriving and got clear instructions what to do. We were met as we arranged and kindly given an early check-in. The apartment is beautifully centrally located just a couple of blocks from the Ramblas, and across the road from the port where the yachts and restaurants are. It was very comfortable and so spacious compared to the previous hotel we had stayed in. It was the fourth floor, so felt quiet and secure and there was a lift. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were restaurants all around. The washer/dryer came in very handy. Our contact even offered to organise a taxi for us for our very early departure.

Good unit in the Gothic Quarter.

Good unit on 4 th floor p- clean & functional with lift , air conditioning and good water pressure in bathroom , laundry and renovated kitchen. No English TV channels. onvenient location in the Gothic Quarter - quiet by day , but can get noisy neighbours and party goers in the laneways on the weekend - but that’s Barcelona :-)

The apartment was suitable for our stay however, the microwave oven did not work; there was no cover for the duvet used on the sofa bed; the electric heater did not work. On a plus side, the shower was good.
