Great Hotel

Great service for the staff. Loved the 7th floor pool! Very good buffet breakfast. Hotel not close to major tourist attractions (palace, temples) and traffic is terrible in Bangkok so took long Uber rides.

Not really that grand if I am honest. Maybe a few years ago this would have been in a better shape. The breakfast I thought was terrible the room itself was old dated and the 4 posted bed missing screws making it weak and wobbly. The only good thing is the views from the side suite

Great room. Massive. Bathroom lighting not very bright though. Parts of the building are very tired. The pool area especially. Tape over the cracks in pool glass walls etc. This place has some of the nicest, most helpful staff I’ve ever come across.

We didnt stay long about 30 mins. We were given 2 connecting rooms on 26th floor. In the hallway the large window was open ...it was a bit dark in the hallway and a person could easily climb out onto the ledge or if they didnt know the window was open could fall out the building. We had 2 kids with us aged 12 and 14. It didnt feel safe. By the lift there was some buckled tiles and a cone by them. There waa a note on the table saying that we may see damage in the hotel from the earthquake and this was purely cosmetic and the building was structurally safe.. but instead of making us feel safe it made us feel uneasy being that high up in the hotel. The beds were rock hard. The door connecting the rooms didnt shut. Everything was clean but past its There is nothing around the hotel so you have to get a taxi to go anywhere. We decided to check out 30 mins after we checked in and lost £440 from the booking.

This was a good hotel. The bed was very hard and they only give you two water bottle for free no matter how long you are staying. We ended up walking to the gas station nearby and bought a pack of waters. The shower was broken when arrived (rain shower portion shot water at the ceiling). They came up promptly to fix it but only patched it up. It still shot water at the ceiling but much less. enough went through the shower head for it to be useable. The location was conveniently close to our excursion meet ups so we didnt get stuck in traffic but there is no convenient metro in walking distance so you have to use grab to go anywhere.

Average hotel with better options available elsewhere. Hotel staff are disorganized and surprisingly very unfriendly when compared to the normally warm and lovely Thai people. Upon arrival key cards to the room didn't work and required several trips back and forth to reception; key cards also lost they coding periodically during the stay requiring more trips to reception. AC in the room will do as it pleases ans the thermostat controller has little control, it was typically either very cold or blowing hot. Best left off overnight. Cold shower on the first morning until maintenance made some adjustments but still the shower would fluctuate better very hot and cold when in use. Beyond the reception the hotel is run down, with very average cleaning. Be careful with using the glasses and cups in the room as these are cleaned with tap water and towels. The hotel is far from the main business, shopping and tourist areas with little public transportation options which requires lots of taxis or "grab" to get around. But as the hotel is on a busy road it can take up to 45minutes to 1hr to reach common areas; often Grab drivers will cancel the ride before arriving due to the traffic to and from this area. Also be aware the room has poor noise insulation and music from street or other guests in the hallway/nearby rooms can be loud. Very busy breakfast area and lobby in the mornings as it is used by large tour groups.
