I like the idea of having two rooms and an apt feel. It was very cozy and comfy. The only thing I wanted to report was that when we opened the sofa bed we discovered a whole bunch of hair on the bed and closed it right away.. I told them on the way out.. but was pretty grossed out with the hair.

Great location. Close to main shopping and dining, but on a quiet street. Suite was clean and cozy. Hot tubs on roof were great. Will certainly look at staying here again.

Well-equipped and clean. Located in the heart of downtown Banff. Everything in walking distance and close bus stop. Location comes with lots of noise but with windows closed the suite is fairly quiet. No parking included, so plan to pay or scrounge for limited street parking. Overall, great value for the price.

One of only a few properties i could find w a full kitchen in banff. I really wish there was parking included, but the walk to public free parking was only 5 minutes. Nice sized and nice views as well. Will definitely look to stay there again.

It is noisy as the echo from people next to this rooms opening, closing the doors. The room is small and no place for towels and no closet. Parking is an issue for this hotel. But the good thing is comfortable beds and pillows.

Good location. Would stay again. Only criticism would be dirty dishes left in the sink upon arrival. The rest of the room looked fairly clean so must have been an oversight on cleaners part..

We loved our stay! The property was renovated, super clean and appointed with all the things you need for a short stay. The front desk was accommodating and professional. The one bedroom suite is a tight squeeze with luggage etc so don’t bring more than you need.

Generally a good basic option for a two bedroom apartment rental. It is simple and clean. Great and easy communication with the basecamp people. The location is terrific and very central. The bad side is that the parking situation is not good at all. Large cars or SUVs won’t fit in the parking garage next door which is also 30 bucks a day with no in and out privileges. There is paid street parking nearby but it is very limited. We parked at a free lot about 7 mins walk away, kind of a pain for a ski vacation as you have to carry your gear back and forth twice a day. The room is also quite small for a family, and there is no storage for clothes etc - no drawers, no shelves, just a few hooks - so you have to live out of your bags.

Great spot and we really enjoyed our stay. Room/suite was excellent. Beds/bedding very comfortable and high quality. Check in process was very easy and we like that it was all online. Would like to see higher quality coffee and better instructions about parking. The parking garage has low clearance (didn't work for our vehicle) and we had to find a street spot. We were not expecting to have to pay for parking. Loved the hot tub!

It was good, clean and good size for 2 families. The parking situation was not explained ahead of the time, plus the front desk attendant was rude and discriminative, so that's why I rated the communication low. Otherwise the place is good.

Very good location, we booked for a family getaway. We have a litttle baby with us so this location is perfect for us strolling around the town. IGA next door makes it very easy for the last min grocery option. Unfortunately the night we stayed seem to happen to be the same night that there’s a loud party happening a suit above us, it was definitely hard to put little one to sleep with noise at 11pm. Otherwise good location, we paid for parking indoor and it was a good option to unload and load the vehicle as parkade connected directly to the suit. High recommend the place, especially for family with children.

Great location in Banff downtown. Walkable to shops and eat. The property is new and clean. The two bedroom suite is spacious, with fully stocked kitchen.

This place was amazing! This is our third time in Banff and this place offered the best views from the room than most of the hotels on Banff Ave. We had a one bedroom suite and the only critique is that there was no dressers in the room to unpack. The bedroom is on the smaller size but didn’t feel cramped. We ended up just unpacking into the kitchen cupboards and that worked perfectly for us. All the kitchen appliances were brand new, the couch was very comfy. Parking is the only thing, we ended up parking our whole time here (6 days) at the Cascade Shops parking garage, it’s $30 a day but we were on the 4th floor and there’s access from the hotel to the parking garage if your on the 3rd or 4th floor. We would go out during the day come back around 4pm and leave the next day around 8am and that was $30 Overall I highly recommend Basecamp Banff especially if you’re looking to save money by cooking meals in the room like we did. Hotel is right by the IGA and easy to get from and to the IGA, liquor store and Banff Ave
