"I enjoyed the kangaroo steak for dinner at the Tides restaurant. It was accompanied with sweet potatoes and broccoli. It was all excellent! I also loved being able to sit at the beach and sit by the pool. It made it an enjoyable experience."

"This lodge was in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest, which was so cool. There was a tiny pool, but 2 nice natural swimming holes to wade in However, food was quite pricey for the quality you received in the restaurant. The Continental breakfast was a nice touch in the morning. It was great that we were loaned a flashlight and umbrella for our stay."

"A great place to relax and unwind. Be aware the birds can be noisy at night and there's down time on the generator. Staff were friendly, food was great. Liked the kitchen and pool. Kids saw a cassowary which was a bonus."

"The Wilderness Lodge is the perfect accommodation in the Daintree — you’re immersed in the rainforest with all the comforts of a nice room. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and the staff (especially Sasha) were so nice and helpful! There’s no wifi in the cabins but that makes the nature immersion all the better!"

"Greg, the proprietor, is a great guy, welcomed us personally, showed us into our room, set us up with excellent Starlink WiFi first thing and prepared a beautiful, big breakfast for us the next morning with sweet papaya, melon, excellent coffee, and poached eggs on ham, cheese and avocado toast. The room was comfortable and clean, with TV, and a fridge. The property is beautiful, nestled in the rainforest with countless birds and green mountains behind. He pointed out his flowering jade plant with blossoms like I've never seen. Thank you Greg!"
