From sitting on the pier eating papaya to the spectacular boat ride through the park towards the floating lake houses, the whole arrival feels like stepping onto a movie set. You almost expect someone to reveal a green screen—it’s that unreal. Photos simply cannot do this place justice.
The setting is breathtaking, but the lovely staff, spotless accommodation and incredible food make the whole experience feel special. Swimming straight off the front of your lake house into still, jade-green water, surrounded by that extraordinary landscape and peaceful silence, is something you won’t forget.
The absolute highlight was spotting two wild bull elephants along the shoreline during an evening boat ride. Seeing them in their natural habitat, from the water, felt like winning the lottery. We knew we were lucky just to be there, but that was something else.
We stayed only one night, and leaving was the hardest part. Three nights here would be a proper switch-off from the world. Magical from start to finish—we would love to come back."
