"The rooms are spacey and clean, nice bed including very comfortable pillows and mattress. Staff was exceptionally nice, both at check-in and ckeck-out and helpful throughout. Location is perfect in downtown Bethesda, 5 minutes away from public transportation by Metro. I highly recommend this place."

"Having Starbucks on site was awesome. It made for a quick and easy breakfast option for my family and I. The pool was great. Loved the rooftop feature. However, the hours were terrible. It was 11 AM to 8 PM. We were generally out of the hotel well before 11 AM to go do stuff. By the time, we would get back to the hotel, the pool was either closed or closing within minutes of our arrival. Otherwise, the hotel itself was very clean and spacious. The staff did an amazing job with ensuring the beds were made, trash removed, and towels replaced. We also liked the lobby areas that the hotel had. It was nice to meet other friends locally in the lobby too. The metro was nearby so it made going into DC very easy! Would definitely consider staying here again!"

Omni Shoreham Hotel

"On my first trip to Washington, DC, almost 70 years ago, I stayed with my family at the Shoreham. This was my first time staying there since then, though I had attended several conferences there during the 45 years I lived in the DC area. I'm so glad I chose the Shoreham. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, lovely, and clean, with good lighting, lots of outlets, very nice, comfortable furniture, and terrific bathroom amenities. The water pressure in the shower was probably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. The housekeeping staff did a great job. All this for a very reasonable price. And, though I really dislike "resort fees," this one actually included a credit at the bar that was enough to get me a light dinner one night. The Shoreham was a great hotel 70 years ago. It still is. And it is in a very convenient location, a block from a Metro station and just a block or two from a number of shops and restaurants. I recommend it highly."

"Staying here was a good inexpensive option! The room was clean and everything worked properly. Water was hot, beds were comfortable. However, the front desk lady was completely unfriendly. I went to check in and she had my standing there for a while before she said anything to me, she whispered and didn't give any clear directions through the check in process. & then she lost my ID card temporarily. When I told her she hadn't given it back to me she acted like I was the one who lost it. It took her a few minutes of me standing there before she actually looked for it and found it under a pile of papers. The whole experience made me feel like she rather be doing LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. & check out was no different. She talked at me through a thick plexiglass wall and only opened it half an inch to retrieve my room key. I literally had to tell her I couldn't hear her. She was the worst part of our stay. Nothing like being greeted with such personality. Also, breakfast was awful. Plain cheerios and sad waffles with no topping for three days straight. Thank gawd for the iHop next door! Their service was amazing."
