We had a great stay at the African Village. Our accomodation was roomy and clean. Some of the beds were a bit hard. We also were given 2 keys, one which did not worked and we locked ourselves out however we were able to call afterhours. The kitchen bin had also not been emptied from previous visitors and there was no dish washer tablets but these are small things. We had a lovely stay. Thank you we will consider again we we need Maleny accomodation.

Loved the spacious cape cottage, great value, lots of inclusions, comfy beds. Not many places to eat within walkable distance was the only downside. My dog loved it. Would stay again

We loved our stay at the African Village. The Rondavel Cottage was really clean, had everything we needed for meals, lots of space, a great vibe and lovely gardens. We were disappointed we couldn't get the gas log fire working as it would have added to our enjoyment but overall we loved the accommodation. Would definitely return.

Rustic cabin for a weekend away

Lovely leafy location, set in beautiful bush lands. We enjoyed the way the cabin windows were plentiful and let in the daylight. The cabin had a nice outdoor deck, a spacious lounge area and big bedrooms. The place was showing its age and could use a ‘spring clean’ - broken lights, dusty ceiling fan, dirty ledges. Aside from that, the bed mattress and pillows were saggy and quite uncomfortable. We had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin and location. If the mattresses and pillows were replaced we would stay again.

Beautifully clean, modern unit. Cute theme, lovely gardens and excellent location. Car park is a little small when other guests arrived with multiple cars. No reception on site but check in was easy.

The Rondawel Cottage is a unique slice of Africa. It is very comfortable - a wonderful place to relax. Matilda and John are lovely, friendly hosts who offer a range of extra experiences including African food, massages and their condiment range. It's a special place to stay that is hard to leave.

Listen, I think I can hear nothing...

Africa cottage is a great place to relax and unwind. We booked the Cape cottage and spent most of our time sitting on the deck feet up reading. Every now and then looking up to see birds or lizards climbing the massive tree that shaded the cottage. We visit the area often and will be making Aftica cottage a return call. Next time to try the meals !

Spacious rooms, great decor

Friendly owner and staff. Loved the African decoration and large rooms. Lovely garden. Parking area needs improvement.
