"Hilary and Oliver are so hospitable and warm and everything you can want in B&B hosts. They are so accommodating in every way. The breakfast is superb- fresh cooked to order Irish breakfast or avocado toast with salmon or egg. They worked so hard to patiently and kindly accommodate our dietary needs and each thing we asked for to make our stay great. Dinner in hotel lovely but need more experienced help. She was only about 16 and couldn’t answer any questions nor figure out how to do two bills. A hotel of this quality needs better staff"

"We didn’t realise at the time of booking that the hotels main use is for pilgrims visiting the Knock Shrine. As such, the facilities were limited and whilst fairly new, were dated. Similarly the restaurant food was limited to say the least, it was more like that provided at a care home rather than a 3/4 star hotel. "The property was stunningly attractive. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. To get to town was a twenty minute walk where all the eateries and shops and bars were. I ended up getting a taxi back on three occasions as it was mostly uphill on the return. Then again I am over seventy years old."
