"My boyfriend booked this stay for my surprise birthday getaway and it was beautiful. We loved the cultural and historical significance of the cottage and the decor was stunning. We loved the hot tub out the back, it was private and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and the parking was so handy. We ordered an Indian Takeout and it didn't take long to arrive at all. We hadn't even finished our stay and were already talking about coming back. Its such a perfect getaway to be in nature. "

The property was in a great location, the host responded very quickly to any queries, the property was very clean, homely and had everything we needed, the bed had the comfiest pillows I’ve ever came across and the host had left us milk etc for a cuppa on arrival, beautiful interior and all that was needed for our stay. "This is the first city hotel that we have stayed in that wouldn't serve drinks to residents after the bar had closed. Very annoying as we had been to a concert next door and wanted a couple of drinks with our friends after the gig. Maybe something that could be looked into. The bar staff told us the night porter would get us drinks but he flatly refused. Put a bit of a dampner on the evening."
