"When you hear the expression you get what you pay for this was this hotel! Nothing drastically wrong with it but it’s dated. Bathroom was very dated. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows lovely though. Parking excellent. Room was very hot but it was during a heat wave ! If you’re looking for a cheap stay it’s perfect, if you’re looking for a luxury stay go somewhere else!"

"The room was suitable for our short stay, however with such lovely expanse of grounds it was therefore unfortunate that the view from our room was a 12foot high brick wall. Despite there being no air conditioning the room had a patio door which once open cooled the room. Upon request the hotel provided a fridge for my elderly mothers insulin, unfortunately the fridge was faulty and froze the insulin which caused a unplanned medical issue. "The cricketers itself was very nice pub food was okay but nothing special, breakfast was good. Our room (the best)was located in a converted bungalow over the road , on arrival i was handed rhe keys and told its over there!! The room was clean but tired .there was no fridge to keep anything cool The weather was extremely hot ,hottest on record, there was no air con , just a small fan in the room which was extremely hot , i had brought an additional fan with me as a precaution .
