"Booked well in advance but gave away our room and expected my 17 yr old daughter to sleep in a couch bed for $800+ per night. Gave us the room the next day. No mention of booking palapas in advance until you get there, and clearly not enough for everyone. Only way to guarantee one was to pay $30 Per day. Overworked wait staff on the beach. Very crowded Beach. Not enough seating in the lounge to enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day. Won’t be returning"

"Yes! Very nice. Yes to shops and shopping. Nice variety of price ranges and types of shops. The food was excellent, I'm vegan. The serversans chefs were very helpful and gave good recommendations.🙂 EVERYONE on staff was so welcoming friendly, helpful and professional. Special shout to Chris and Carlo/Carlos at Fresco. Arun at Sole poolside. Also Anouk, the fitness instructor! The spa was wonderful. Shout outs to Alyssa, Johanna, and Layda. Loved the boat taxi and island. Reallt, loved it all. Nothing negative. "

"For an all-inclusive resort, the food was lacking. The main restaurant that services breakfast lunch and dinner had minimal options and it was not self service for the most part.. having been to many all-inclusive resorts with buffet restaurants I can say this one did not meet my expectations at all. Aside from the food being tasteless, the time it took for you to get your meal because you had to order it just did not seem efficient. The service was subpar at best. I found that the staff didn’t cater to all guest. You had to get your own soda, your own coffee. The restaurants located on the property were impossible to get a reservation for. Well, I did my best to eat off of the resort there were times where I just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and nothing looked appetizing nor was it satisfying."

"Hotel facilities were ok. Staff was “ok” at best. No real desire to work or be there. All restaurants on site were full and no ability to eat dinner anywhere else but to go to another hotel about 1/2 mile down to eat. On site restaurants took forever to clean the tables for breakfast and lunch. Tables dirty waiters did not had a good face, they all seem broken and sad. Food stations attendant left it alone multiple time. It took 20 mins to order any meat from the buffet line. Customer service was horrible for the amount of money you pay, it could be at least good. On site shops super expensive, simple sandals $60. Onsite coffee shop staff, especially the women treated everyone with disdain. Every time some one will come up to order something she gave faces. Will I come back to this property? Probably not. 4 pools a lot of adults did not allowed space for kids to be around the pool. Bartenders at the pool bar (main pool bar) forgot orders placed by customers. "

"Barcelo Aruba , it was an okay experience. I think they could do better they have potential. Five days that i spent there it was impossible to find a chair available by the pool. Buffet food very blah it didn't have a very variety. Been Aruba i expected to find more friendly staff members. When i booked my vacation i had asked for a two queen size beds. Never got it instead we a got a one kind size bed, when i spoke with the front desk the day of arrival i was told that they would try to get a another room and let me know. Never did. The one thing that i have to say is that the restaurants in the resort the food was very good. At aleast that. Definitely i love Aruba is one happy island 🏝 and i will definitely come back but i will stay in a different resort. "

"The staff is so nice and friendly!! The room was always neat and clean and tidy every day. The pools were great and never overcrowded. The beach area is large with many palapas for shade. The casino isn’t huge but we weren’t going to gamble. The property is kept really well and the breakfast buffet is stocked with great breakfast items! Kids under 5 eat free and my older daughter who is 8 ate for half price. We had a great vacation and will definitely be back to stay at the Hilton. "

"Great place and perfect for families. Not overly packed like other resorts and plenty on site to do. Divi beach is adjacent to the property and is beautiful. My one gripe is the service. Some restaurants on the property would use one waiter for the entire place and we would be waiting for very long time for any acknowledgement. This is the case at many all inclusive places, though "

"Overall it was a great hotel, very clean and friendly stuff. However, food was tasteless and they were charging extra for their sunbeds and their papalas in their own beach which was a turn off. "
