Rude staff and terrible service

Such a rude and none friendly staff. Not service oriented at all. We had to beg for one toilet paper roll. They were not caring at all about their guests, all the food bought in restaurants in the hotel were include of service charge and they never fedunded the rest of the payment. Basically a total rip off. Internet was terrible, barely could use it to send an emergency email!

Отличный отель только требуется реставрация!

Отель конечно отличный!!! Но давно требует реставрации. Хозяину отеля пора задуматься об обновлении номеров (сантехника подтекает, обои отклеиваются). Совсем плохо убирают пляж. Прям совсем. Мужичек с тележкой конечно ходит. Посмотрел на мусор (прибило штормом) руками развёл и дальше пошёл

We have stayed at this hotel for one night to use aqua park services. When you are coming to the reception desk looks like tired faces of all associates warn you in advance not to come at this hotel and you will make a biggest mistake of your life! However want to thank Ms. Naila on the reception who has tried to be very attentive for our requests. Room was dirty without any amenities while check in time, and after several reminders we have received bath amenities. F&B service is on the 0 (level) we have paid 15 azn per person for lunch and then used a la carte on dinner where understood that should be better to go outside. Anyway, never will come back again here!

Defenitivt inget 4-sjärningt hotell

Stort hotell och stort rum med mycket bra utsikt. Mycket personal men väldigt varierande hur trevliga och serviceinriktade de var. Svårt att göra sig förstådd om man inte pratar azerbaijanska eller ryska. Bra städning men tyvärr så slängde de endel saker som man hade velat ha kvar. WIFI fungerade inte på rummet. Personalen försökte ta ut en avgift för olika saker på 5 Manat som var felaktig tex solstol vid stranden samt frukosten som var inkluderad i priset. Stod att det skulle finnas aktiviteter på hemsidan som inte alls fanns. Definitivt inget 4-stjärning hotell.

Отель не плохой , правда старенький и требует ремонта . Персонал молодцы: ресепшн, горничные, сантехник, часть сотрудников ресторана . Но в ресторане вас с лёгкостью обсчитают , молодой шеф ресторана грубиян , и лентяй. Повар умница.

Not a good choice to stay in this Hotel.

Hi! I stayed at AF, Noakhane, outside of Baku for 2 days, from 27.09.14 to 29.10.14. I did not enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it was very noisy. The staff could not speak English which created a lot of trouble for me. The location of the hotel is also not suitable because it quite far from Baku. That's why after only two Nights I decided to check out from this hotel and shifted in to another hotel. S. Haider Hussain Oslo.

das hotel liegt direkt am Kaspischen Meer

ich hatte 2 wochen gebucht, von 16-30.7 2014. vom hotel aus bis Baku kostet die fahrt mit taxi 20 manat (ca 20 euro) etwas zu teuer wenn man jeden tag nach Baku möchte, in Baku selbst ist viel zu sehen, Innenstadt und die Hafenpromenade mit vielen attraktionen ist eine reise wert, nicht zu vergessen die schöne Altstadt, alte kultur in die man reinschnuppert kann ist einmalig. von der fahrt mit bus nach Baku kann ich nur abraten, bei der hitze um die 35 grad ohne Klima, busse vollbesetzt, die fahrtzeit um die 1 stunde ist eine tortour.

«Отличное расположение».

Расположение отеля хорошее, практически у самого моря с хорошим своим пляжем и зеленой территорией. Но отель требует капитального ремонта, в частности, кровати в номерах старые, продавленные, на потолках следы протечек с обсыпавшейся штукатуркой. Да и мебель в стандартных 2-местных номерах спартанская и старая. Так что на 4-е звезды он явно не тянет. А вот обслуживание в отеле и ресторанах было хорошее - доброжелательное и уважительное. Ежедневно номер убирался, с заменой полотенец и постельного белья. Но, к сожалению, "шведский стол" в ресторане оставлял не самое лучшее впечатление в отличие, например, от турецких, греческих или итальянских отелей. Но самое ужасное - между отелем и пляжем (в сущности непосредственно на территории отеля), размещена ночная дискотека с рестораном, всего примерно в 15-20-ти мерах от здания отеля и громоподобная электронная музыка типа бум-бум звучала с 8-ми вечера и до 6-ти утра ежедневно. Поэтому спать ночью практически было невозможно, даже при полностью закрытых окнах и двери на балкон. Обращение в администрацию отеля по этому поводу было без результата, их ответ - это арендаторы и нам не подчиняются. Так что отдых был испорчен, т.к. спать можно было только по 3-4 часа в течение 21 дня.

AFHotel Aqua Park er et godt alternativ når en ønsker badeferie i Aserbajdsjan. Passer også for familier. Både fine bassenger, badeland og steandliv ved Kaspihavet. Men svært få av betjeningen snakker engelsk, så uten aserbajdsjansk, tyrkisk eller russisk vil en ha kommunikasjonsproblemer.

Great location with bonus aqua park!

A decent hotel situated in a great location by the shores of the Caspian Sea with it's own private beach. Firstly I will commend the reception staff, their English was sound and they were rather friendly and helpful to me during my stay. The rooms were simple and appear locked in time of the Communist era, but adequate and clean, either overlooking the Caspian Sea or the aqua park behind. Not many hotels have the luxury of beachfront access and an aqua park with watersides so I took this as a bonus. The aqua park was clean and had 3 out of 4 watersides operating and kept the kids entertained, as well as a water playground area and plenty of deck chairs for sun baking. If you want a few days to relax by a 'cleaner' part of the Caspian Sea and soak up some sun, this is the place. However, there is not much worth exploring on foot around the hotel. The hotel can organise transfers to and from Baku Airport or city for a decent price, but to organise, calling the hotel directly is more reliable than e-mailing them. Overall I was satisfied and glad I took a few days to stay there.

Westlicher Standard darf nicht erwartet werden!

Der erste Eindruck im Hotelzimmer war ein Schock - alles abgewohnt, notdürftig repartiert, sauber an offensichtliches Stellen wie Tischoberfläche und Bett, allerdings weder unter dem Bett noch in Ecken. Weiterhin alter Teppichboden, eine Klimaanlage, die noch niemals gewartet zu sein schien und nicht reguliert werden konnte. Auch das Badezimmer hat einen erschreckenden ersten Eindruck hinterlassen - die Tür konnte gar nicht geschlossen werden, die Armaturen waren uralt und regelmäßig kam ein fieser Geruch aus irgendeinem Abfluss. Der Service im Hotel kann mit westlichen Standards nicht verglichen werden, denn fast alle Möbel waren alt, verschlissen und abgenutzt, Platten gesprungen selbst an den Schwimmbecken, Treppenstufen gerissen, frei liegende Kabel überall. Für uns mit am schlimmsten war allerdings die schlechten Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten, denn selbst an der Rezeption wurde nur schlecht Englisch gesprochen, in den Restaurants gar nicht. Es gab auch keine Menükarten auf Englisch. Wenn man also nicht in der Lage war, Aserbaidschan oder Russisch zu lesen und zu verstehen, waren die Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten gleich NULL. Woher das AF-Hotel 4 Sterne genommen hat, wissen wir nicht! Wer sich im AF-Hotel erholen will, wird dies nur schwer können, da täglich von 21 Uhr bis morgens um 5 Uhr laute Diskomusik von Boxen an der Strandbar ertönen. Da die Fenster nicht dicht waren, war Durchschlafen, um morgens erholt zu sein, nicht möglich.

Впечатления отрицательные

Отель отлично смотрится только на фото. По реальному состоянию, отель запущен и не ухожен. В номере как минимум требовался косметический ремонт, ковролин грязный и старый. Сантехника в отвратительном состоянии, душевая кабина сломана. На рецепшене давали неверную информацию о режиме работы столовой. На просьбу починить душевую кабину не последовало никакой реакции. В отеле очень мало гостей и очень много местных подростков, с которых берут плату за вход на территорию бассейна, 15 манат. Отдых на территории отеля, у бассейна, однозначно не комфортный.

1 Std. vom Flughafen entfernt, Strand unbrauchbar, ins Wasser sind wir nur vorsichtig mit den Füssen rein, nicht sauber, Hotelanlage schön, aber in dier Jahre gekommen, dringender Renovierungsbedarf, sämtliche Matratzen durchgelegen, (wir haben uns auf zwei Stockwerken mindestens 4 Zimmer angesehen), nur mit mehreren Decken als Polster schützt man sich vor Druckstellen, wirkt alles (Ambiente/Personal/Essen/Besteck) noch als überbleibsel Stalins, 3 Rutschen, wobei eine gesperrt war, die anderen beiden sind ganz ok, Animation ganz gut, aber zu laut, (auch zu laute Musik vom Strand bis 3 Uhr morgens !)großzügiger Kinderbecken mit vielen Wasserspielen, Essen dürftig, Mitarbeiter motiviert und füllen sofort nach, oft ohne einen entsprechenden Hinweis. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung zu Fuss nichts Sehenswertes.

Dobra lokalizacja na opoczynek !

Hotel OK ! Zgodnie z filmikiem ,który znalazłem w internecie. Trochę słaba znajomość języków (angielski,rosyjski) , ale wszystko można załatwić. Słabo odkurzali mi pokój. Taxi pod nosem i tanie.

nicht schlecht, aber...

die Umgebung ist halt nicht toll und der Sevice ließe sich auch verbessern, vor allem im Restaurant-zumal es nicht an Personal mangelt. Aber es ist das einzige große Hotel an diesem Strand und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und sprechen auch Russisch.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 20 Kilometer vom Stadtzentrum direkt am Kaspischen Meer. Einige kleine Lokale nach 10 Minuten Fußweg sind erreichbar. Ansonsten einige kleine Läden und nur viel Müll. Das Hotel selbst war nach Fertigstellung sicher topp, aber seitdem wurde nichts gemacht- ausser offensichtlich die Gäste abkassiert. Unverschämte Preise (z.B. Bier 4-8 Euro, gut nachgefragte Speisen wurden mal schnell um 50% verteuert), schlechter Service (Tische werden nach Lust und Laune abgeräumt/ ständiger Versuch des Personals das Wechselgeld ungefragt einzubehalten / Reinigung des Zimmers beschränkt sich auf Glattziehen der Bettwäsche und vielleicht mal saugen), schmutzige Zimmer (Spinnweben, dazu Schimmel an den Zimmerwänden, keine Schränke in den Zimmern, unterschiedliche Ausstattung mit und ohne Stühle oder Bügel).Die Poollandschaft war großzügig und angenehm. Ausreichend Liegen, jedoch keine Strandhandtücher. Der Strand war mit Muscheln übersäht. An Strand und Pool ständig überlaute Musik. Die zahlreich angepriesenen Sportmöglichkeiten waren nur zum Teil verfügbar. Gäste überwiegend Iraner u. Russen bei geringer Auslasung (im August.)Positiv: Das Hotel bot täglich einen kostenfreien Tages- bzw. Halbtagesausflug zu Sehenswürdigkeiten in Baku und Umgebung an.

Abenteuer pur

Wir waren im Rahmen des Länderspiels eine Woche in diesem Hotel.Zimmer zur Meerseite haben einen tollen Blick aufs Meer aber auch auf den außerhalb der Anlage liegenden Müll.Daran muß man sich aber in diesem land gewöhnen,denn außer in Baku liegt der Müll immer rechts und links der Strassen und ich meine nicht nur mal ne Flasche oder so,es sind Massen...Das Essen war schon ok,Frühstücksbuffet war von allem was da(warm und kalt) und reichhaltig bis zum Ende,aber sobald man den Tisch verließ um nachzuholen,wurde abgeräumt.Hat dann aber nach entspr. Hinweis auch funktioniert.Zimmerservice klappte nach dem erstn Trinkgeld gut,sonst wurde schon mal nichts getan.Zimmer zur Poolseite bloß nicht nehmen,Musik aber richtig laut bis weit nach Mitternacht.In manchen Zimmern fehlten Tisch und Stuhl auch die Elektrik hatte teilweise Macken(Lampen und Schalter defekt).Positiv die angebotenen kostenlosen Exkursionen nach Baku und auch ins Landesinnere,die waren wirklich gut,sind aber kein Standart.Für unsere Zwecke war alles in allem ausreichend,aber zum Urlaub muß man nicht nochmal da hin.
