Pleasant, flexible, accommodating manager/owner assisted with early check in. Room very clean, bed excellent with very fresh linen, good shower. Great value. Will stay again.

stop over Hotel
Hotel was back from the highway, couldn't hear the traffic. I couldn't open the room with the key had to ring reception for help. I so wanted to go to bed early after driving all day but 2 rooms decided to be very loud & sit outside & be very noisy.

No clock in the room. Batteries were flat in the remote. No booklet to say where to eat, where to have breakfast, something for tourists to know what to do in Bairnsdale.

Thanks for your kind words, reception is full of information for tourists, although most now just Google things to do. Batteries are replaced at no additional cost, if advised.

Good overnight stay. Strong smell of ‘Glen’ 20 quite over powering. Smoking area should be well away from the rooms. As neighbours smoked and it wafted into our room. Owner was obliging and let us have access early even tho the room wasn’t quite ready.

the experience fell short of expectations
The room had an unpleasant smell, and the furniture seemed outdated. There was no air conditioning, leading to poor air circulation. The bed covers did not appear to be freshly washed, and the beds were both uncomfortable and small. It was not a family-friendly environment, and the presence of many cigarette ends outside was noticeable. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations

Thanks for your kind words, although the air-conditioner works fine. The Motel is a three star motor inn and priced accordingly, maybe you expected a five star resort at three star rates.

Bed was comfortable. No instructions for the TV/Foxtel. No signal on any of the TV channels when DTV was selected. Guests in next room sat outside the room and spoke loudly and their cigarette smoke was getting into my room. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

It was exactly what I needed, a safe, comfortable and clean place to crash after a long day's travel. I arrived late and left early so didn't see much of the place but my room was fine and had everything I needed. I'll be back!

Older property but it had everything you need including iron and ironing board and toiletries. All very clean and accessible. Bed was very comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Happily stay again 😁

To soak or not to soak!
Overall the room was very clean so gets a thumbs up for this but the bed was absolutely awful, could feel the springs and was so hard that I had a terrible nights sleep. Also I got the room with the spa for an overdue relaxing soak but didn’t happen as the hot water ran out before it even reached the jets so I resorted to boiling the kettle quite a few times just to get a bit of warmth. So a huge thumbs down for that 👎

Thx for your feedback, beds are a personal preference, I had another person who loved the bed! Hot Water?, I have got the plumber looking into it, hopefully if found we will fix.
