I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. A major scam and a big, freaking disappointment both about the hotel but importantly EXPEDIA for not doing their due diligence. and I have been trying to reach Expedia to get reimbursed, if anyone reading this can help me, I would like to find a proper lawyer to sue Expedia in their country of registration for lack of accountability and malpractice. and of course the trouble we had to go through to find a new hotel at a peak weekend holiday in Bagan!! what a disappointment and sad state of affairs on Expedia. "
