Small and perfectly formed

It's the almost perfect hotel for us. Gentle stroll into the town. Small, family run, plain tasteful decor, high quality linen. It almost seems churlish to make any criticism. It's a while since we have been but it's good to see everything is as we remembered it . Above all there are no pets

Hotel agréable

Hotel agréable situé juste à la sortie Bad Bergzabern. La chambre était assez grande. La salle de bain est un peu étroite, mais propre et bine entretenue. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Le restaurant est très bien. Le seul défaut que nous avons noté est le bruit généré par le trafic routier tôt le matin.

As we were at the start of relaxed restrictions afte COVID there were only a few guests. Understandably the hotel bar and restuarant were not open and there were no staff inthe evening in the hotel. As the hotle is outside town this left you with the feeling of being stranded and even worse without anything to eat or drink. which wasn'T helped with no minibar in the room to either get drinks or store drinks It was a hot weekend and with the windows open there is a lot of noise from the heavily used street next to the hotel

Ein schönes Hotel, doch einen Nachteil gibt es. Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr befahrenen Straße und man kann nur bei geschlossenem Fenster in Ruhe schlafen, wegen der Lärmbelästigung. Ansonsten hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen.

Ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher wären als Ergänzung noch ganz empfehlenswert. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, ich werde bestimmt Privat nochmal hinfahren.

Very good stop-over.

Lovely hotel. Traditional exterior with modern interior touches. Made to feel welcome by genial hosts. Large bedroom with clean facilities and very comfortable bed. Nice breakfast with good choice of food on offer.

Lovely Hotel wooded area and town - POOR WELCOME.

Hotel, nice clean. Nice area. Limited facilities. Eg No food or bar Monday. We had a really poor welcome one female member of staff. On arrival we gave her our confirmation and she said we have no record of you? I persuaded her she was wrong. Later on a male owner or staff member spoke much more pleasantly he was very good. Oh well you can get the odd bad apple everywhere. A real shame!

A szobán kívül minden fel volt újítva, még a fürdőszoba is :) a reggeli viszont sajnos elég egyszerű volt, de kielégítő. A hotel mellett helyes hegyi patak által duzzasztott tó található, illetve számos turista út indul még innen.

Drei Tage im Februar

Der Empfang durch die Chefin des Hauses war etwas kühl, aber freundlich. Der Service im Restaurant hingegen war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Durch Bauarbeiten im Haus war hier und da ein wenig Lärm oder auch mal ein verstellter Flur, was aber zum Feierabend der Monteure alles abgestellt wurde. Insgesamt habe ich die Tage im Pfälzer Wald genossen und würde ohne Bedenken wieder einchecken.

Lovely grounds

Beautiful location just outside of a town with plenty of amenities. The grounds share with a park and there are plenty of walking paths to enjoy.
