The location was everything. Walking distance to many things in the Trevi area and about equal distance from Vatican City and the Colosseum. They were “kid friendly” by offering a pack and play but did not have options for a tub to bathe my baby. The staff was wonderful at helping us book airport transportation to/from and helpful with recommendations when asked. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. The 4 stars is because of breakfast. I had tours at 8am every morning and breakfast wasn’t open until 7:30. If I tried going early to grab a banana on the go, the guy was irritated that I was there so early. I wasn’t able to actually use the breakfast I paid for until my departure date. They also didn’t have any water on property. I had my baby, it was 95 degrees F when I was there and when I asked the front desk for water they said they only have the beverages for purchase in the mini fridge. They offered water at breakfast so I’m not sure why they couldn’t offer it outside of breakfast hours.

From the moment we stepped into the plush hotel lobby we felt immediately welcomed. We stayed for 1 week in the hotel so we had plenty of time to explore the city. The hotel is very well located for this.
The hotel has hired top tier staff. Daniel, the hotel manager, was very knowledgeable and friendly and assisted in providing many sightseeing and dining recommendations. Alessandro, also a front desk associate desk associate, was always available to assist with our daily plans as well.
We started every day with a visit to the relaxing rooftop restaurant every morning and often ended our days with an aperitivo at the end of a long day.
We highly recommend L’Orologio and will be delighted to return again!

"Parking is an issue, I only found out that they have limited parking spaces, like only 6 or 8 once I arrived. I was advised that i needed to pre-book the parking.. also it is very difficult to stop outside this hotel as its on a busy corner. They directed me to a public car park across the road."
