"The only thing I believe was cheaping out was having to pay for transportation from the ferry to the resort. This should be included. You are paying a premium to stay. Hotels pick you up at the airport. Also, the senior that lives on the top floor of the North seaside building is a nasty person. She owns the condo and is not a nice person to other guests."

"Loved the honeymoon casita! The pools are outstanding and the Cocoblanco Restaurant is fabulous. The staff is very warm and friendly. If this sounds good to you, this resort is it. Quiet and gorgeous. Elegant and relaxing."

"If you’re looking for a resort that curates and customizes to your every need this is the resort for you. The rooms are immaculate, the service is out of this world, by the second day every person knew the names of our party, their drink preferences, food allergies . I never heard the word NO from the staff, whether it be breakfast for dinner, or custom meals, it was only if we have the ingredients we will make it for you. When my bags did not show up at the airport, the staff went out of their way to pick me up clothing to get me through the interim. My daughter got sick the staff picked up the medication, and made special arrangements to get it to her. I have been to many five star resorts in Cancun, Dominican, Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas, and I have never had an experience that was better. This is not the largest resort, they create intimate unique experiences for each group in a beautiful environment with a passion and love for their guests. I can’t wait to visit again."

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"Very relaxing. If you want crazy party vibe not the place for you unless you plan to drive. If you are looking to relax, and occasionally drive, then this place is for you. Great staff, great food, great drinks. Very chill."

"This is a very pleasant and well-run outfit. However, we were disappointed by the beach area, which wasn't really a beach but felt more like a concrete slab with a thin kayer of sand spread on top. Sadly, the shore all down Ambergris Caye was choked with a foul smelling algae bloom which made it impossible to swim and ruined the entire island atmosphere. The location is ok if you have wheels, but if you don't it's too far away from the shops, which is a real bother seeing as the hotel doesn't do breakfast."
