Excellent small hotel on the Blackfoot reservation. Small place with 15 rooms. Unusual design, but comfortable. Located on a ranch outside of town. Very quiet. Met other guests at the gazabo for drinks in the evening. Friendly and accommodating staff. Loved this place. I would stay here again.
This propert was clean, quiet, and conveniently located close to Many Glacier and Waterton National Park in Canada. The property is well off the main road.
To say Hooks is out in the middle of nowhere is an understatement, but so is Babb, which is exactly why we stayed there on our trip to Many Glacier and Waterton Lakes. The host (Lori?) was gracious and kind, and the room spotless. Other guests were quiet. The fake-fireplace-heater was a bonus. Do not be scared away by the unpaved road (really not that bad). The view alone is worth the drive. For those drawn to unique and memorable places, this is for you. Also check out the Cattle Baron Super Club in Babb. The rough exterior hides a truly unique interior with very good food, run by friendly operators of the Blackfoot tribe.
Rundown property in the middle of nowhere, dark room (2 dim bulbs), no dresser or cabinets to store anything, tiny bathroom with an unbalanced barn door, bare falling apart mouldings, uncomfortable old mattress, very limited staff availability. Severely overpriced. But room was clean and staff friendly.

This was a really nice location especially if you are planing any hikes that use the Many Glaciers entrance. The surroundings are quiet and the room sufficient.
The bathroom could use some hooks in it for hanging of travel kits and what not. The towels are a bit thin.
Our biggest issue and the only thing thinner than the towels are the walls. It was not fully booked so I don't understand why they put the next set of guests in the room next to our but we could clearly hear them discuss dinner plans and meeting someone at 11:30 for lunch the next day after a morning hike.
Good location for going to Glacier National Park from the east side. It was quiet. Room was a bit on the warm side, but it was unusually warm outside. They had a team roping contest onsite the first night we were there, and we enjoyed that and were able to purchase drinks as part of that.
My spouse and I stayed here for our visit to Glacier National Park. The staff was so friendly, and our room was very clean and comfortable. It’s definitely no frills, but that was fine for us. It is off the beaten path but conveniently located for early morning park entry. We would certainly stay again.
Out if the way motel, but it was safe and clean. Hotel owned by Bill Hooks who is a very pleasant man. He gave us a tour of his bar that is closed right now and hopefully he will reopen soon. The bar overlooks an arena set up for rodeo. Would love to see the rodeo and bar back in operation.
This motel was clean, dark, and quiet, which we appreciated! It’s in a VERY remote area (you have to drive down a 3-mile dirt road to get there) which was beautiful but a little bit of a culture shock for us visiting from a busy suburban area. Seeing the sunrise over the rolling hills was incredible though! It was about a 40 minute to an hour drive from the motel to the areas of Glacier National Park that we wanted to go to, so not too bad! Our only real issue was there is no air conditioning. There is a fan which helps and it would probably be fine on most days, but we happened to stay there on two 90 degree days and the room was warm which made it tough to sleep.
Quiet retreat out in the country. Very neat and clean. No TV which didn't matter to us. Had WiFi which was nice as we didn't have much phone service in the area.
Only saw staff at check in & at check out. Peaceful property & a fun little rodeo (team steer roping competition) the kids enjoyed. Basic lodging served purpose. Nice fridge & shared microwave.smsgared

Was a little nervous because the web site said it was closed. When we arrived the staff everyone was inviting and friendly. Room was clean had what we needed for our stay. Lighting could be a bit better if we were to stay longer. Would recommend this motel to everyone!!
The “motel” is very difficult to find. This was out in the middle of a field, down a 3-4 mile dirt road. It was close to Glacier Park entrance. The room was clean, a bed, a bathroom. There is no tv, the microwave is in a hallway to be used by everyone, the coffee machine was broken. There is no water or ice available. We only stayed there two nights, I would never go back or recommend it unless you couldn’t find anywhere else; which was why we stayed there!
The people at the front office were very cordial and when I left something there accidentally, they were very kind to mail it to me at home. That was very considerate of them. Thank you to them.
I would have given them an even better review, but we were disappointed that the bar & restaurant were permanently closed, which we hadn't realized before. But all else was just fine.
I liked this was so close to Glacier National Park as I did a hike with my friend there. The only complaints I would have for the hotel are 2. 1. My room the coffee maker didn't work, and the staff is not there to help except hours you are not in the hotel because we were out and about at the National Park. 2. The curtains were so light and airy that they didn't block the bright light from the hallway or the sunlight that starts at 5 in the morning.
No AC. This motel looks like they converted a double wide into 10 rooms or so. Rooms are pretty dim, walls paper thin. The furnishings looks like they came from Good Will. The experience was a little strange and the price was steep - $200ish a night. WiFi was good.

Located 3 miles down a gravel road, no air conditioning, and the room was really small. Also very pricey for basic accommodations.
Easy check in. Laid back place. Nice staff. Clean. Just what we needed to relax after long days of hiking. 35 minute drive to Glacier National Park. Less than 15 minutes from the US/Canada border.
