It's a great little gem. The owners are nice and the place is good. But the walk to get there is a bit uphill so if you have mobility issues and you don't have a car it could be a challenge. But if not it's a great place to stay.

What a beautiful place to spend our first night in New Zealand! The property was beautiful and I so appreciated being able to soak tired bones in the hot tub after so many hours of travel. I loved sleeping with the windows open, so relaxing. I would definitely return!

We had a fantastic one night stay here for a wedding on the Island. Very clean and hosts were very nice and accomodating to our needs. Early check in and late check out were no problem. Only negative was that we couldn't figure out how to turn off the outside lights which stayed on all night and kept the room very bright. Would definitely stay again though. Nice place.

We had such a relaxing stay at Le Chalet. The room was so thoughtfully and tidily presented and it was such a luxury having access to the pool and jacuzzi. Easily accessible by buses which are frequent in the morning and afternoon with good shops nearby. Thank you to the hosts.
