The only complaint I have is my favorite restaurant Matsuhisa was closed both days of my stay for private events.. I ordered room service instead which was really disappointing. "Of course Sofitel at the Athens Airport is perfect for those who fly out early in morning or arrive late on a flight, that is a given. But the room felt dirty, the bed liner was filthy and the rug smelled. The mirror in the bathroom was leaning as if it was broken and the coffee machine was not cleaned. For how much You pay, I feel it is not worth it. I think with all the money they make there and obviously have the market there, the hotel needs to be cleaned and updated!! I probably won't stay...

"We travelled as a family with 2 young kids, 4 and 7, and booked the executive suite. We chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the Acropolis. It was a 5 min walk to the entrance of the acropolis and about a 15 min walk to Syntagma square. The hotel was very well maintained, clean, and our room was more than enough space for 4 people. They converted the sofa into a bed, and there was second bathroom, which was great for our kids as the sink was lower. The only downside was a set...

"The bar was literally cleared out because I was there and the random wine bar next door was packed so I would go over there, meet with specific people, get taken to a place, and then as I was walking to my taxi get kicked from behind then punched in the nose I was getting back up...then taken to Alcatraz so the fraudulent charges look real."
